1. Falcon Crest Of all the soaps this was the place I wanted to be magically transported to the most. The Tuscany Valley had such beautiful rolling hills, it always seemed so lush and romantic. 2. Dynasty Mostly for what we got to see in season 1. The grounds of the mansion, the scenes with snowy mountains in distance. If only we'd had more of this. 3. Knots Landing KL did seem to do quite a bit of shooting on location and I always enjoyed the beach scenes and the landscape around Westfork and the Sumner mansion. 4. Dallas Southfork itself often seemed like flat nothingness that went on forever but events like rodeos and Marks polo match spring to mind as good location shoots. And of course downtown Dallas and particularly the skyline in the opening credits were always impressive. 5. The Colbys The grounds of the mansion, especially the pool house, were gorgeous, and occasionally we got some nice locations such as downtown scenes and coastlines.
