You are just like Trump. Speak before you know facts.
Let me tell you some facts then:
1. There are no "no-go-zones" in Sweden.
2. The places that have had major problems with gangs have had the same problems for decades. They did not start when Syrians came in 2015.
3. Few crimes in 2015-2016 were committed by refugees. They were committed by people who have lived here either all their lives or for many years - most of them with criminal past & previous jail time.
4. We do age-test some. It depends on what errand that person has. If it's someone arrested for a crime, then we do age-test on that person, to check if he/she should be sentenced as a child or adult.
5. We have indeed had an increase in rape cases. But immigrants can't be pointed out as the reason for it. It's most likely because....
6. ... there is a backlash with the equality. Many boys (with white Swedish parents, Swedish names) have become recentful of feminism. There are so many guys attacking strong opinionated women online. A Swedish handball player, Linnea, gets harrassed on weekly basis. Guys who text her with creepy invites, and when she says "no", they turn all psycho on her calling her "ugly", "slut", "trash" and many more things. She's started an Instagram account for this. @Assholesonline
7. We have a major police problem because of the reorganization that I spoke about previously. We need many more police officers (and teachers & nurses). Low-paid jobs aren't attractive.
8. No one is lying to the public. These things are public knowledge. The increase in rape cases was the most discussed topic last summer. The police problem has been discussed in media for at least 2 years now.
9. Ever since the 1990s, deadly violence has decreased. Deadly violence involving a gun has increased though. But deadly violence as a whole has not increased!
So you can shut up yourself. I know fully well what is going on. And yes, there are problems. What country hasn't got problems? But so far, the immigrants that came here in 2015 is NOT to blame. The problem areas (Rinkeby, Rosengård etc) have had the exact same problem for as long as I can remember.
On top of that, we don't accept many refugees anymore.
In 2015, we took in a whopping 160.000
In 2016, we took in only 29.000
And not all will get to stay. Many of them will get a rejection and be sent back to the country they came from. Many of them will go back to their home country willingly.
So @McGarrett - tell me this: how can we blame immigrants that came here in 2015-2016 for the problems in Rinkeby, Rosengård, Alby etc that have been ongoing for decades?

FOX NEWS had a man called Nils Bildt on Bill O'Reilly's show the other day echo Trump's debunked claims about Muslim immigrants driving the rise in violent crimes in Sweden.
FOX identified the man with an on-screen caption that read: Swedish Defense and National Security Advisor. Turns out, Swedish Defense Ministry & Foreign Office had never heard of him. LOL.
And it gets more embarrassing. Then Bildt himself confirmed FOX pulled that caption out of their own asses, saying he's actually an independent 'expert' and had no influence over what caption FOX put on screen.
And finally - are you ready for this - FOX's fake expert who claims Muslim immigrants will cause violent crimes in the US is himself a Swedish immigrant in the US who hasn't lived in Sweden since 1994 and was himself arrested for committing a violent crime in Virginia in 2014 (assaulting a police officer, obstructing justice, public drunkenness, etc.)

The police doesn't use the term, so of course there's "officially" "no go-zones" in Sweden - just zones they won't enter without protection. 15 according to official reports and as many as 50+ as many as the media have reported (which, bizarrely, they seem now to deny)

"No-go-zones" means areas police never go to. If they go there with extra protection, then it's not a "no-go-zone". They go there, period. Of course some errands need protection. If there's a violent man on Lidingö, the police wouldn't go there without protection.

What often annoys the heck out of me when especially The Sweden Democrats (SD) party speaks, they focus on details instead of the big picture for the refugees.
The big picture is this:
Young boys and girls who have grown up year after year after year in uncertainty.
First war in their home countries where they often haven't been able to go to school, and the parents haven't been able to work. Syria was a fairly good developed country before ISIS. Many were highly educated.
And don't forget the Assad regime! A vicious dictator who has rebels killed, with help from Russia.
So no matter which side you were on, you lived under a constant threat.
Then ISIS grew bigger and the regime got even more interested in killing the regime critics. There was very little hope for a future in Syria.
So these people had gone from living a fairly good life, to being poor and living under a constant threat of being killed.
Escaping was the best option.
But how many countries wanted to welcome them in?
And those countries who did welcome them didn't really provide much for them. Most countries just put them in tents with not many bathrooms or showers, or clean water.
Just imagine living with hundreds of people, with maybe 10 toilets and showers, water that isn't clean, sleeping on matresses on the floor or ground. I'd go halfways insane for sure!!
Of course they want to go to better places! Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland - whatever! Some place where you can get a proper roof over your head, clean water, food, a toiler and shower for yourself. Just basic needs.
So after risking your life on a boat over to Europe and travelling for weeks, you finally reach a good place.
And what happens? In Sweden, you get moved around a whole lot. One month, you're living in Piteå, the next month, you have to move to another town. It's not like Sweden has apartments ready for everyone.
We put them in houses where they have to share rooms with strangers. 20 boys living together - 20 boys who have never met before. 20 boys in different ages. Do the calculation - it's not ideal!!!
So after being moved from one town to another, they finally get a permanent stay. But do they get jobs? No. Because to get a job in Sweden, you need a varified ID and a work permit. Not so easy to get.
Also, who wants to hire a person who can't even speak Swedish? Some don't care, but most companies do.
So just think about it:
You're in a foreign country, often without your family. You live in a house filled with strangers - yes, they may come from the same country as you do - but they are still strangers! The city you end up with has some racist people looking down on you. You don't know the language, so you can't communicate with the population. If you're over 18, you will have a really hard time getting a job, because you don't have a permit - and no one wants to hire you if you can't speak the language.
Meanwhile, you're hoping and hoping that the war in Syria will end so that you can return there. To your family.
Would you say life is great now that you're in safety? Or would you still think that life is unfair?
On top of that, you haven't been able to go to school for a really long time. And without adults around to raise you, you have to either rely on yourself or others who are willing to take you in.
And who are willing to take you in? Criminal gangs of course!!
Finally someone who actually wants you!
So you are pulled in by them, and they treat you as you are one of them. Hallelujah!
And when your new group of people is under attack by rival gangs, or the society that didn't welcome you in - you fight for your group, of course. Bloody da*n, of course! They're the only ones treating you good.
Sweden took in 162.000 people - only 500 of them has gotten jobs.
Our intention was good, it was humane. But we can't just take them in and not do anything for them. We need to provide for the people we take in.
We live in a global world. We've been living in a global world for many years now. With the Internet, with trading, import/export and working abroad, it's way too late to stop the train and turn back! Nor should we! Going back would be a big failure. And we can't stop technology from developing either. Forget the old world. It wasn't good, anyway.
So living in a global world, we also have to forget about "we only take care of ourselves". We have to take care of each other. Cause if the world is happy, we are safe. If we have good contacts with other countries, we are more motivated to help each other. Being caring and humane is the only way the world will be happy. Love is more helpful than hate, 100% of the times.
Will it be easy? Heck no. Nothing ever is.
But the people who have a lot should help the people who have too little. Think Robin Hood, but willingly instead of stealing.
And this includes teaching ethics.
We can't just let these people that we welcome in to be uneducated. We have a responsibility to teach them about our culture, our laws, our ethics. If we don't teach them - how are they supposed to know, when they don't even know the language?!
At the schools I work at, we often talk ethics with our refugee students in class. They like discussing ethics and situations you might end up in. It's very giving.
Spreading the refugees out in all cities, letting all cities help, having schools teach refugee students, involving the refugees in society and fun things you can do - and providing them with permanent homes and work --- that is the answer!
But it takes work. Cause if you knew only 1 person in your new country - wouldn't you want to live near that person? That's why so many refugees gather in spades in a few suburbs. It's only human to want a place where you feel that you belong.
However, it's counter productive. We have to make them WANT to stay in different cities. And the only answer to that is to make sure they like it there, make new friends, give them work and a decent place to stay etc.
Racists make things worse. We need to embrace them and give them a good start.
