These random GH scenes are popping up in the "suggestions" of YT's front page. This one shocks for two reasons, neither having to do with the plot developments. First, I had forgotten Vernee Watson had appeared on GH previously. Granted, it was a day-player role but her demeanor isn't much different from the one she currently plays. Also I was surprised that the show erected that rather complicated, detailed "NY hospital" set for what would be considered minor scenes. The set reminded me just how much more effort (and $$) they used to put into even the short-term sets that might never be used again after a day or two. Compare it to the chintzy "Atlantic City Casino" set they attempted to create in yesterday's show and you can tell the money has really dried up.
