[QUOTE="Monzo, post: 445293, member: 19949"] Unfortunately, The Bold and the Beautiful didn’t manage to take the number one spot among women aged 18–49 this past season. It missed the top spot—currently held by The Young and the Restless by a mere 0.01. B&B lost some steam in the ratings, particularly over the last few weeks. It seems that Steffy’s pregnancy isn’t exactly ratings gold for casual viewers—the kind who only tune in when the show is at its absolute best. I have to admit, when it comes to Steffy’s pregnancy, you have to turn a blind eye (or even both eyes) to the lack of logic. Katie’s fashion house is also losing momentum. The storyline involving Hope was interesting, but the insistence on having Zende as their designer is a head-scratcher. Shouldn’t a new fashion house be looking for talent from all over—perhaps from French or Italian brands—instead of focusing exclusively on Forrester Creations? Katie’s aversion to Dylan is also a bit strange. The show tries to justify her behavior by framing Dylan as a mini-Brooke, but it’s hard to buy into that. I never really cared for Kelly Sullivan on General Hospital or Y&R, but on B&B, she’s finally winning me over. I had actually expected her to show interest in Bill, but I’m glad the writers went with Deacon instead—especially since Deacon and Taylor became uninteresting as a couple very quickly. If even Sheila has lost interest in them, that’s a bad sign. Are there any rumors about how happy Katherine Kelly Lang is at B&B these days? She had some great scenes with Hope and Katie, but then we were simply told she was off relaxing at a spa. The Brooke we know wouldn’t have just left town like that—could it be that Katherine Kelly Lang is only available for a limited amount of screen time now? Her return was also strange (or boring)—a bit of flirting with Ridge, and sharing excitement with Daphne over the fact that the search for a surrogate is moving forward. I expect—or rather, I hope—that sooner or later Scott Clifton will announce he’s leaving B&B; when he does appear, he’s severely underused. Shortly after that, it would likely be revealed that he’s returning to GH. Every time Dylan is mentioned in passing on GH, I hope it’s a sign that we’ll soon see Scott Clifton back in that role.
