Message: <blockquote data-quote="Daniel Avery" data-source="post: 354523" data-attributes="member: 27"><p>It's hard to find factual (as opposed to gossipy opinion) information on what has gone down between Doug Davidson and the current producers of the show.  The prevailing opinion is that when he was invited back he thought they were going to give him more to do.  Instead, they barely used him.  I'm not 100% sure but I think it is his decision not to appear; when you're on recurring you can come or go as you please.  He might just be waiting for the current producers to get fired and try his luck with a new regime---it certainly worked for Mishael Morgan and Eileen Davidson.</p></blockquote><p></p>
