Because those involved made Dallas a standout it lifted the viewers expectations - we were along for the ride - so to speak. When those same clowns decided to bring back Bobby it treated the viewers with contempt and we retaliated by withdrawing from the show. It's a very fine balancing act when writing/producing such a series. A recent example was "Revenge". Thoroughly loved the premise (and season 1) however when season 2 rolled around something went astray and they lost me, never to return.</p></blockquote><p></p>
