Animals know when we are upset or ill or are in distress. A long while ago a friend of mine had done something silly while I was asleep at their flat. Their dog jumped on the bed I was sleeping in, which it never would have done. And started pawing at my face, and licking my face and barking until I got up to see what had happened. The dog was alerting me because it could not waken it's owner. The dog saved it's owners life.</p></blockquote><p></p>
