I liked the show so I thought this film would be an interesting watch. I wasn't wrong. I found the film to be engrossing. The casting seemed a bit odd as neither of the leads look like the characters they played but their performances are so good that you don't mind that in the slightest. I am overly emotional in most circumstances and the J Edgar Hoover bit at the end (can't say more as I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it) did move me even though it was pure fiction.
