I started out certain, just as she was, but as more and more happened I was convinced we were stepping into the shoes of someone experiencing a denial-fuelled nervous breakdown. I found it quite frightening that she went from this grounded character to someone whose word I didn't fully believe. And it only worked because of Jodie's performance here. Every moment is played for complete truth and there's no vanity at all. This rings a bell but I'm fairly sure I've never seen it. Perhaps it needs to be added to my ever growing bucket list of films.</blockquote>
