I hadn&#039;t seen it from I was about 8 or 9 years old. I really enjoyed it, though as an adult I noticed there were possibly one or two songs that went on a bit too long. But I&#039;m s sucker for fairy tales and musicals and this one was right up my street. I loved the King played by Michael Hordern. He had some of the best, witty lines in the film. I also liked Annette Crosbie as a very different Fairy Godmother and Margaret Lockwood as the wicked Stepmother. And the ugly sisters were a young Sherrie Hewson and Rosiland Ayres. The songs weren&#039;t all that great to be honest but I thought the film was humorous and lovely to look at.
