It's the scene they've spoken of many times, their first proper one together apparently. Larry told Linda afterwards she wasn't too great and needed to be better next time. A few years later she made reference to it and he said he didn't mean it, but had to show her who was boss!

Looking back at these scenes it is clear that each actor was right in his role. Here we have the first encounter with JR's wickedness and Pam's wounded pride. Both perfect interpretations.

First clip with bright colors like a Disney animated film, the second clip relating to the next episode, with much more natural and appreciable colors. I've always hated the scene in which Miss Ellie refuses to discuss with Clayton the question of the real identity of Wes Parmalee. The viewer was left with the doubt that Ellie doesn't want to talk because Wes could really be Jock who sacrifices himself for the good of his family, or it was assumed that Ellie for a certain period of time had preferred Wes to Clayton. And as a kid the ambiguity of this scene annoyed me terribly.

Miss Ellie understood the psychological problem of Wes Parmalee and she thought that Clayton and her sons were too "testosterone" and didn't show empathy. That's why she abruptly ended the talk about it.

Slightly off topic. Disney (Australia) have announced the upcoming release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be their last DVD/Blu-Ray release in Australia. Looks like another media is heading for the scrap heap. This doesn't bode well for Dallas on Blu-Ray.

No, Dallas was the third most of the time. This evening fourth. Falcon Crest is leading for two weeks now or so. My vote is Knots Landing of course!

The poll is 1/2 way down the page. Since I've last checked Falcon Crest is leading with 28%, Followed by Knots Landing and then Dallas.

Yep, finally confirmed officially. If Dallas on Bluray was planned in any way, they wouldn't ask.
Can't vote as well, as i despise Facebook, the Metaverse or whatever they call themselves.
