I wasn't aware drag queens were exempt from being bullies.

In my experience, people who claim to embrace uniqueness and tolerance usually only do so up to a point. I don't know anybody that truly embraces everybody.

Frankly, I find it off putting that children are put in the middle of these culture war battles. That's why I also don't like when evangelicals try to reinstate prayer/God in schools.

@CeeCee72 also makes a good point about child safety. Both drag queens and evangelicals accuse each other of being "groomers." I don't know about that, but I miss growing up in a world where librarians read to children with no ulterior motive or agenda. Religious fanatics and drag queens have their own spaces to express themselves, so why do they also feel the need to influence children? Inclusivity is one thing, but some people want to push the boundaries to the point that it starts to feel more like indoctrination.

I used to work in libraries, before any drag queens came to do story time but when did have guest storytellers the parents would come with the kids so it would be a free choice thing. Also with child protection laws so strong anyone who is working with kids even for a one off session has to undergo a background check for any criminal convictions etc.

Drag isn’t my thing but if they are dressed up in fantastical clothes, makeup and wigs I don’t see it any different than the magic of a kid seeing a pantomime dame at Christmas time - we’ve never worried about that and it’s regarded as a British tradition.

That said - I think there are lots ways to promote diversity and the freedom to be yourself if that’s what it’s about. I could see how it would be appropriate for something like pride month because it’s natural for libraries to have guest storytellers at different times in the year. I once had to dress up as a the Bookbug - I’m 6ft 3 already but I was over 7 foot with the costume on and the kids were traumatised when I had to come out dancing - not as traumatised as me though!

Game Of Thrones actress actor explains why MeToo has been silenced:

Yeah, what a buncha shit.

MeToo fell apart because too many dishonest actors jumped on board to exploit the movement for their own reasons. None of which helped people who may have been genuinely sexually-assaulted or harassed. Because that wasn't the motive to begin with.

And people smell the falsity of it. Like with the parallel "woke" stuff during which nobody gave a damn about the marginalized communities they pretended to be fronting for. It was a vicious purity test.

But that always happens.

Reading the FB comments is fun. A lot of wimmen sniping that the men's comments "prove the point" of the video (although I'm finding few of those "misogynist" comments proving misogyny). One male poster asserted that "Amber Heard killed MeToo" which met with indignant responses from wimmens who indignantly snapped that Amber Heard was exactly the victim she'd claimed -- those commenters quickly revealing that they knew absolutely nothing about the Depp/Heard trial.

It's what you'd expect.

We know there is something wrong with men and "patriarchy" (even when it's correctly defined) but we're allowed to talk about that and to do so ad nauseum. But there is also something wrong with women (and it's not the result of patriarchy or oppression). And I've gradually come to realize that scriptures' warning about the dark side of women's nature is not coming from "patriarchal documents." Those warnings are true.

The Number One method of a woman getting "what she wants" (or what she wants right now) is to nag. Like a spoiled 9-year-old little girl. And the more one caves to her demands, the worse it gets because she quickly realizes that this is "what works." And because the verbal skills portion of the female brain develops sooner, she gets damned good at it pretty damned fast.

Feminism is the group, adult version of this "nagging" phenomenon. They just want even more shit. And they assume they'll get it -- the more they get, the more they complain that things are worse for them than ever.

We've got to start saying "no." They're actually happier that way. Or as happy as churning, unfillable vessels can possibly be.

The sad fact is, sexual misbehavior does exist. And the true victims of it are damaged by all the narcissistic junk dished out by the feminists (or feminist-adjacent entities). But they don't care about real victims. And the men are too weak to stand up to the rotten ones (because we pretend there aren't any) and she knows it. So it all just goes on and on.

I was watching an interview with Glenn Close from a few weeks ago. And she defended her "not evil" characters in DANGEROUS LIAISONS and FATAL ATTRACTION as women who were essentially defending themselves from the ways men had always treated women. Eliciting the expected smattering of applause as she grins her nasty Glenn Close grin.... despite the fact that the other female characters in those movies suffered dearly from her behavior. (Gee, I guess that's just the patriarchy pitting women against each other).

I'm sorry, but you have to view them as malevolent, willful 9-year-old girls. Because that's what they are. And act accordingly. But the men are just too weak, too enslaved by her -- not oppressing her.

Are their nice women who get mistreated? Of course. But they're not even a consideration in all of this. They're too busy being sidelined by the Amber Heards and the Marquise Isabelle de Merteuils, and the public support for them.

The reason the women are endlessly asserting how much men "hate women" (aside from the usual projection) is that she secretly thinks she deserves it. And the relative "lack of sisterhood" (except publicly, where there's lots of it) is because they know how each other think and therefore hate each other.

Matriarchies (like feminism and certain minority populations in the States) cannot heal. They cannot heal.

This popped up on my YT feed today for some reason --- it's kind of funny:

PS: for the record, there are killers in all 36 sun, rising, and moon signs. But these zodiac bitches have no idea what they're talking about.

For the record, Lindsay is a Sun in Leo/Moon in Aries just like baby-killin' mama Diane Downs -- but we don't have the latter's birth time, so we don't know the Rising sign (which makes a big difference).

I don't get this whole thing. Yes, post partum depression is real and horrible and women should have better access to mental healthcare, BUT no amount of mental illness can excuse what that woman did. When I see other women defending her online it makes me sick to my stomach.

These women care nothing about the kids or, really, Clancy's mental issues or the excessive prescriptions which often complicate those issues. It's yet another attempt to prevent women from being held accountable for anything ever -- accountability is misogyny, after all.

It's retroactive abortion rights.

This isn't new, either. During the nineteenth century, there was a move to actually decriminalize infanticide -- because 97 percent of infanticides were committed by women, and all-male juries simply refused to convict her (it was too easy to portray her as a vulnerable and troubled victim of circumstances). So trying her in court was viewed as a waste of tax payer money.

Today, if a guy had a traumatic brain injury and annihilated his children, how many men (or women) would be out there celebrating or defending him?

Maybe if Lindsay turned out to be vehemently MAGA, these ladies might change their minds.

I don't know, it seems to me they we're talking about a very loud minority group of "feminists" here. I'm a woman and every woman I know is disgusted by this and wants her convicted and put away for good. I think social media is amplifying the most extreme voices - on all issues and all sides.

Sure, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and the crazies get the legislation --- in a display of perfect timing, Massachusetts just legalized 9-month abortion.

And to think Biden and Kamala swore it would never happen.

The Massachusetts law allows abortions after 24 weeks with permission of a doctor for very specific medical reasons. It's disingenuous to use that law to imply women can kill a full term fetus at nine months on a whim.

I recently watched one of my neighbors be FORCED to carry a dying, deformed fetus to term and be physically and emotionally traumatized by giving birth to a dead baby because by the time to defects and illness were detected it was too late for an abortion in this state. There are some real reasons for late term abortion in some cases.

They wouldn't let her abort a dead baby?

Yes. But only after it died. She suffered for weeks knowing it was going to die, but they wouldn't intervene until there was no heartbeat. Notice, I said she was forced to carry a deformed and dying fetus to term. Once it finally died, they did intervene.

My state does allow abortion up to 12 weeks for a "normal" pregnancy and up to 24 weeks for a pregnancy where the mother's long term health is at risk or a fetus is diagnosed with a condition that indicates it will die before or shortly after birth.

BUT

In many cases doctors are hesitant to make an official diagnosis, especially when an amino can't be performed. My neighbor was told at about 21 weeks that the fetus had what looked like cysts or tumors, that she wasn't producing enough amniotic fluid, that the fetus was very unlikely to survive. Her doctors could not give a specific diagnosis. Once she passed 24 weeks, she just had to wait for it to die.

So yes - I support laws that allow for termination after 24 weeks under the strict supervision of a physician and under very specific circumstances.

That doesn't make me a crazy leftist feminist.

I keep thinking there must be some way to pair up Lindsay Clancy with Karmelo Anthony, with a lavish wedding at Southfork (which is right up the street from him). Paid for with all their GoFundMe proceeds.

Yes, I know there are many women who are disgusted by her (just as there are many men who are disgusted by male rapists and domestic abusers/murderers).

Unfortunately, the type of women who defend female child killers and want to shield them from accountability have become the face of the modern feminist movement.

Perhaps the best way to make the distinction is to put "toxic" in front when talking about those feminists. It seems only fitting since they started the trend.

Well, they ARE toxic. And they are doing great harm to *real* feminism. - just like the hard core leftists "allies" did real harm to the LBGTQ+ community.

Well, they ARE toxic. And they are doing great harm to *real* feminism.

Although the more you learn about "real" feminism, the more one realizes that this is just the (un)natural end that was always its destiny and intention: entitlement, no accountability, endless lying with impunity, and the right to kill her children at will.

The spoiled, violent 9-year-old with no obligations nor expectations of reciprocation (because she's a child) yet the uncompromised authority over the household.

This was always what it was about, even if many of the members genuinely thought that "equality" was the goal.

Feminism has always been about centering and elevating the very worst impulses of female psychology. And they've been wildly successful in a way few acknowledge... They control academia, they control the media, and their impulses and cleverly-shifting nomenclature ultimately impact law.

And the more wildly successful they are, the more they claim their oppression is greater than it's ever been. That's their playbook.

The Garden of Eden is a scriptural metaphor: the men were too weak -- or stupid -- to say "no". And now he doesn't have to say anything, because today she runs the show.
