[QUOTE="Luke_Krebbs_Ewing, post: 353799, member: 64"] That's because when Jock's teeth flew out the window, so did Chico Steve! ;) I certainly don't think Jock was losing his grip on the family, if anything some of his family were losing it. This season saw the aftermath of JR's shooting, with Bobby stepping in to run Ewing Oil suggested by Miss Ellie to Jock to stop Bobby and Pam from leaving Southfork. This didn't go down too well with JR. At least Ray married Donna although he had to deal with an unwelcome visitor. Jock himself did have to deal with Ray's unwelcome Father Amos Krebbs when Amos revealed that he wasn't Ray's father at all, Jock was! One of the best season's, all the more poignant because we sadly lost Jim Davis who succumbed to a cancer of the brain which he had been battling over the course of this season. May he sleep eternal with the Lord. I am so looking forward to watching his tenure on Dallas in high definition when Warner Bros. release the new Blu-ray collection this year.
