Cruise with the Dallas stars! :)

But then it was known as a man's show, so I guess that's why.
I've never bought into that idea. I know plenty of women watching the series back then and not just for the fashion. JR was one of those few characters where men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him. That's a rare feat to accomplish with a television character. Only later when JR hooked up with Cally did women think that was a turn off and I'm sure a few fathers would have dealt JR some Texas hospitality if they discovered it was their daughter.

Certainly viewers enjoyed seeing beautiful, rich people, but I still say more of a man's show.
Only Bobby was ever scantily dressed and Ray topless until there was Peter and Jack. Also the portrayal of men and women.
Yes, women loved Dallas for plenty of reasons other than just the fashion and dreamed of having a JR in their life (well some women) Men enjoyed watching JR and admired his power.
Hell I was only 9 and loved it!

I think that cruise would be packed to the rafters if these shots were taken today and those beautiful women still rocked a costume, which I'm sure they still could!
