RTL made the decision not to include non-dubbed scenes, of which there are unfortunately many as ARD was ruthless in the 80s to cut down all episodes to fit into a 45 minute slot.I do kind of understand RTL's decision - a streaming service is not the best place to explain that episodes include scenes in English with added subtitles and why. Much easier on a DVD box. Having said that, RTL did decide to air all episodes of Knots Landing which had previously not been dubbed in the 80s; in English, with subtitles and with the original opening and closing credits. Again though, that was on TV and the actually ran quite a marketing campaign about it... and in that case it was whole episodes which would be shown in English rather than individual scenes within dubbed episodes.</blockquote>
