I like COMING HOME a lot, but Bruce Dern&#039;s hair is too long for a service man, and I haven&#039;t been able to watch it since Jon Voight&#039;s shift to the political hard right -- but I&#039;ll eventually re-embrace it. (I just had to wait). Same with MIDNIGHT COWBOY (I also came home from NTC on a bus, but nobody died).Fonda&#039;s just Fonda. I mostly accept her. Although her foolish, &quot;&#039;Woke&#039; just means you give a damn about people!&quot; rant a couple of years ago, though unsurprising, shows she&#039;s as tone deaf as ever -- if not moreso.
