From Miss P x Jim Davis was a lion of a man. Big, strong & crusty on the outside with a heart as big as Texas. Although on camera he was my father in law, off camera we quickly formed a deep father daughter bond. One of our favorite rituals was to put our chairs side by side & read the LA Times together in between filming. Very often he would rest one of his giant hands on my shoulder, give it a squeeze & leave it there while we basked in mutual love & contentment. RIP “DADDY.”
