[QUOTE="CeeCee72, post: 270796, member: 5055"] I don't own any of the characters in this story and no copyright infringement is intended. This fic is an alternate timeline where the dream season wasn't a dream. It picks up of after the last episode of season 9. *** Life Is But a Dream Part 13: *** "Don't let her out of your sight. Not even for a minute. She's only cooperating with us because she needed us to keep her out of jail and get her out of the country. She'll run the very first chance she gets. Understand? Good. Keep me posted." Daughtry hung up the phone and cursed under his breath. He didn't like the situation at all. Angelica Nero was safe and in CIA custody in Zurich, but he knew damn well the woman was going to be trouble. He doubted his superiors' assessment that what she knew was important enough to deal with the hassle. Then there was JR Ewing. He was causing some very serious headaches. JR was well connected. He'd managed to get a wiretap on a police captain's phone. Now he was making noise at the Justice Department. Daughtry knew that man would never quit. He hated to do it, but he was seriously considering paying Ewing a visit. The only way he would back off was if he was told the truth and presented enough evidence to convince him that Angelica Nero had had nothing to do with his wife's kidnapping. He rubbed his temples and shook his head. "What a damn mess." *** "Unbelievable," Cliff sighed, watching the news coverage of Sue Ellen's rescue on television. "Thank God she's alright," Pam said. Mark sat in stunned silence. He couldn't believe it. Jerry had lied to his face. He recognized the facility where Sue Ellen had been found. It was owned by a subsidiary of Graison Research.
