Course, they did spark a renewed interest in those old fashions, making them "vintage fashionable" or whatever its called now. I can never keep up, and don't really care to. XDI... want... catfights. Sorry dude, but that's the one thing I don't agree with you there. DYNASTY has spoiled me when it comes to catfights, and I've become extremely frustrated with the lack of them in other shows. Oh don't get me wrong, MAD MEN and DOWNTON ABBEY didn't need them, but they weren't the type of shows that called for them. But after shows like Gossip Girl and 90210 and how lame those catfights were... <img src="http://yoursmiles.org/ksmile/babe/k0597.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":frustration:" title="Frustration    :frustration:" data-shortname=":frustration:" /> I don't want this new DYNASTY to follow those namby-pamby fights, I want the huge blowouts that the original had - it's what got me interested in the show in the first place! <img src="http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0228.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":lmao:" title="LMAO    :lmao:" data-shortname=":lmao:" />Ahem, yeah. However, I do think there should be a formulaic rule about them: slaps, slapfests, and small catfights (ie, 30 seconds) can take place at the beginning and middle of each season, with there being one big Grand Catfight that takes place towards the end of the season (like the studio fight, the lily pond fight, and the Carlton fight). The only exception could be if a Grand Catfight organically happens in the half-season cliffhanger (ie, like the attic catfight), only there would still need to be a catfight in the season finale. Just on a smaller scale (ie, the pool fight). Why not? Hm, maybe...Maybe... I've never been, but I've seen plenty of clips of it. It is indeed a magnificent house. But I'd also like for Arden Villa to return as well (I WANT THAT LILY POND!). Again, maybe. There's a limit on how much you can bring back from the original show. If they do decide to bring the character of Ted back for the same purpose as before, then I say they should make him a more sleazy and violent character so Blake doesn't come out looking so bad when he accidentally kills him.
