Dallas Top Ten Plots That Never Surfaced On The Show.

The only way that Pam potentially falls for J.R. in that way is if J.R. is nice to her for an extended period, giving her emotional support etc., enough to make her doubt her old convictions about J.R. This would then have to be combined with things like Bobby neglecting Pam, which he did at times on the show, or perhaps in the aftermath of Bobby's death, as they grieve together.

In normal times, while J.R. might be interested in a quick fling perhaps, Pam certainly wouldn't be. Hate and lust often aren't far apart for some people, and that's the case with J.R, when it comes to Pam. Remember the "buoys" scene with Sue Ellen?

Of the two, Bobby & Sue Ellen is the more likely. Sue Ellen once said she wish she'd met Bobby first, and I can imagine a hurt/comfort scene where Bobby's sympathy goes too far.
Conversely, Pam and JR could barely stand to be in the same room together, let alone the same bed.

I agree that Bobby and Sue Ellen were more likely, but indifference is the biggest passion killer rather than hate.

JR / Pam would probably never happen because JR would've had to have changed his tune for an extended period of time for not only Pam - but the viewers - to buy into that. And it was just never going to happen.

And it always felt like Bobby pitied Sue Ellen more than romantic tension - so they would've had to have overcome that in order for it to happen and not just come off as slightly creepy and perhaps predatory on Bobby's part imho.

Most of the time yes Bobby probably did pity her, but there was always that admiration of her for putting up with JR. Bobby could handle his brother with his fists.

I still imagine there was a bit more between them both, how Bobby eyes Sue Ellen up in that backless dress she wore in paternity suit.

He took her flowers when he visited her at the sanitarium. He once told her he envied JR when Sue Ellen was sticking by him over the fight for Ewing Oil as well as the "Sue Ellen will be a very attractive widow" line.
Many of their close chats still happened even when Bobby wasn't pitying her. He didn't need or have to do any of those things, but he always did for her.
