It would take something incredible for Pam do something that insane. In any case, I couldn't imagine her and JR in bed together. Think of the consequences.</p><p></p><p>1. Her character would have been tarnished.</p><p></p><p>2.Bobby would be hateful and in rage at them both and get a divorce.</p><p></p><p>3. Cliff would disown his sister.</p><p></p><p>4. Or worse... End up pregnant with the possibility it's JRs child.</p><p></p><p>As for JR, if they had done this scenario around the time Jock was still alive, he may not only been booted out of Ewing Oil, but off Southfork also. </p><p></p><p></p><p>What about Bobby and Sue Ellen? Sue Ellen while she was in the Sanitarium at the end of Season 2, told Bobby she wished she'd had him instead and kissed him. I wonder if this scenario, ever crossed the minds of the Writers and to continue with the possibility. Bobby and Sue Ellen didn't hate each other, but he did hope that she and Pam would become friends.</p><p></p><p>In War Of The Ewings, JR had this dream of seeing Bobby and Sue Ellen getting passionate in the shower. And it also appeared that the two would kiss during the film.</p><p></p><p>The Writers possibly felt they didn't want to cross the line with viewers/fans and ruin relationships they wanted.</p></blockquote><p></p>
