Other soaps would have gone down that route, but instead the writers kept her as an individual, with her own vulnerabilities that allowed Sheridan to grown herself as an actress.I even warmed to Anne in the final season. She didn't need to be made homeless again, just seeing her desperately trying to save her marriage to Greg made her sympathetic and compelling to watch, and it was nice to see a final mother/daughter reconciliation between her and Paige at the end.</blockquote>
