All the scenes where Cliff just assumed he was Baby John's Father. Why would he be so certain? Although he knew it hadn't happened for JR and Sue Ellen, she did tell him they weren't exactly strangers. Cliff constantly whined the whole time to Pam about wanting to see the baby but wouldn't do anything about it himself. Outside the hospital after he's born Cliff swears he wants them both but Bobby stops him going inside. When the baby was kidnapped Bobby huffs in his apartment like a deranged beast and Cliff just shrugs. Then the neurofibromatosis scenes where Cliff just rants all the time and only ever called him by name once. I just think all the time that was spent on this story (which I loved and love now) I wanted to see Cliff have some interaction with the baby he so strongly believed was his. He only saw him at Priscilla Duncan's house. It's a side to Cliff I wanted to see and the impact of him not being the Daddy would have been even greater and more emotional. Cliff had that side to him back then and could have pulled it off. Diggers death bed scene really annoys me. I hated that he wasn't Pam's Father. Even now when I know what's coming, it still irritates me that they did the whole storyline of Hutch Mckinney. Any scenes with Cally, her brothers and the whole of Hailleyville. JR in overalls working the farm....so rubbish. To be fair there's probably far more scenes that didn't happen that annoy me more than scenes that did actually happen.
