Message: <blockquote data-quote="Laurie!" data-source="post: 393219" data-attributes="member: 2210">That show was cringeworthy indeed but why did Miss Ellie just sit there and leave it to Pam?  Where was the "get my gun from the hall closet" Miss Ellie when it counted??JR should have given Sue Ellen a hug.  That episode was really the initial episode that perplexed me how anyone ever could consider JR and SE a love story worth emulating.One episode that really annoys me is the dream season where Pam is first in Bobby's office at EO when his shares were given to Pam to manage (I think).  JR confronts her and she does a great, strong toe-to-toe scene that seems to be a sign of things to come for that season (oh what could have been I'll forever lament).  Instead, the first thing Pam does is ask Phyllis for a cup of herbal tea....which was the real symbol of things to come sadly.  Not just that wasted season but for all of the women when Patrick returned with his demands for a Bobby and JR show.</blockquote>
