I've always been in two minds whether I would skip the "Dream Season" only because my DVD Collection of Dallas finished at "Swan Song." However, thanks to the internet ;) (GOD bless you internet creators) I now have access to the subsequent years. I've just watched the first 3 episodes after Bobby's death. Was someone a fan of Barbara Bel Geddes and Linda Gray? Their performances alone should have garnered Emmy nominations and wins. Their acting is phenomenal especially the scenes of Linda (Sue Ellen) in the prison cell followed soon after in the detox centre. Which begs the question. Is it just me or did the characters of Pam and Jenna get slighted - thus far - in the return season after Bobby's passing. It seems odd Bobby's death reflects more on Miss Ellie and Sue Ellen when I would have thought the characters of Pam and Jenna to be at the forefront of the drama. I know this season drifts into Dynasty mode but the opening episodes prove why Dallas was at the top of its game. And so far I'm not missing Bobby.
