Several episodes in and I feel it's still very much Dallas. I've also noted some subtle nuisances in filming techniques. For example filming the characters from behind as they engage in conversation. In one episode there was a scene between Jenna and Jack arriving at his apartment dripping wet, from the rain. Jenna was sitting on the floor while Jack was getting the fire started. The dialogue, filming technique and the subtle way both actors delivered their lines gave the scene a rawness to it. The Dream Season has surprised me.</blockquote>
