It's pretty clear that the writers are not really that invested in them to begin with and they have been largely replaced by the Van Kirks. I think having them be half-Carringtons actually ruined any potential they might have had as characters because it basically limits them character wise, story wise and narrative wise. And personality wise, they are also pretty awful. I mean, Monica has to be the worst "best friend" on the entire planet to end up believing Kirby over the woman she supposedly calls her sister.</p></blockquote><p></p>
