For us it was a choice because we're a nation of immigrants who actually chose to move here, starting with the people from England who were sick of the king of England telling them what to do. We rebelled against England, it was a choice, we did it for a way of life, to found a nation on the principles our country was founded upon. It was something worth fighting for and some of our ancestors died fighting for it but we won the Revolutionary War and gained our independence and the ability to do things our own way. It was every bit a choice and every bit an achievement. Every generation since then has done whatever they had to to maintain, to protect and to continue to build the nation our forefathers created and handed down to us. We celebrate it every 4th of July. That is Independence Day.</blockquote>
