Message: <blockquote data-quote="Daniel Avery" data-source="post: 422591" data-attributes="member: 27"><p>I might be assigning more thought to the situation than was intended, but I see Benny and Wyatt as two sides of the same coin.  Wyatt's life was ruled by his addiction to drugs, while Benny was led around by his libido.  Both characters (a "have" and a "have not") were both increasingly one-note as the series progressed because TP made their weak spots into their entire characterizations.  Both had mothers who were driven to extremes in an effort to steer their sons away from disasters of their own making, but never really stopped them from making the worst decisions possible.</p></blockquote><p></p>
