Didn't Vaughn team up with Cliff and others to ruin J.R. when oil prices were falling during the 1981-82 season? Two seasons previous, hadn't he gotten off on the prospect of having to foreclose on Southfork when the Asian wells weren't coming in? And wasn't Vaughn burned at the end of the 1979-80 season to the point where he was a suspect in J.R. shooting? The darned fool.
