First and foremost it was about the characters. I felt connected to them as they struggled through their daily lives. I had the same reaction to Dynasty during Season 1, 2 and partially 3. But then something happened. It was no longer about the characters but what they were wearing and any excuse for Alexis and Krystle to have another catfight. This week on Australia morning television there was a short interview with Joan Collins promoting her movie &quot;The Time of Their Lives.&quot; Prior to the interview their was the usual intro of Joan&#039;s career and inevitably scenes from Dynasty sprang up. One of the ladies jumped on those scenes and said how good were those clothes.</blockquote>
