Although the perfect moment to reveal Martin&#039;s secret was missed, the timing with the announcement that Leslie is Barbara&#039;s daughter was perfect for me. Viewers already knew Leslie in her craziness and wondered how she could stay on the show long-term, and they got an immediate answer. I do wonder how much Anita earned at the Articulettes to set up such a large trust fund that Leslie could easily use to buy and maintain a mansion. It&#039;s truly unrealistic that members of Black girl groups earned that much in the 1960s.</p></blockquote><p></p>
