Message: <blockquote data-quote="Daniel Avery" data-source="post: 444753" data-attributes="member: 27"><p>It would have been a better story if Selina Wu was responsible for the beatings of Sidwell and Curtis (rather than Ava and Drew).  Selina was run out of town by Sidwell, likely putting a huge dent in her business.  Once she heard Sidwell as in jail she should have returned, and news that Sonny was leaving the mob would certainly have gotten her attention.  How Sonny reacts to this frame job would tell Selina whether Sonny was really out of the business (clearing a path for her to take over) or if he was just lying and would stop her if she tried to muscle in.  Either way, Selina would get revenge on Sidwell for what he did to her.  This could set up Selina as the mostly off-screen mob figure in town and Sonny can do whatever he wants.</p></blockquote><p></p>
