Just when we finally got rid of Sienna, a new female character is introduced for Nick—one who isn't needed. I was actually a bit surprised that Noah had to leave along with Sienna. I thought they might give him a chance to see if he’d work better with a different love interest, but perhaps the outcry over two actors who played mother and son on Days becoming lovers on Y&R was too great, and the decision was made to get rid of both of them.I quite like Devon’s new career path and Nate’s return to the hospital, though I worry we won’t actually see anything of their day-to-day work lives; instead, their career trajectories seem designed solely to further push Lily and Cane as powerplayers. As for Lily, I’m amazed at how polarizing a boring character like hers is. I remember the weekly polls for every soap in Soap Opera Digest back in the day—Lily was always the weekly fan favorite, as was Daniel Goddard’s Cane, and the two of them were consistently voted the favorite Y&R couple. Yet these days, I read nothing but negative things about Lily; people find her incredibly boring. Personally, I think she’s overrated and she doesn't strike me as being particularly qualified for her job. One big surprise in the recent episodes for me was an offhand remark when Billy mentioned that Sally was in Los Angeles visiting her sister. So, Coco is back in LA?!? Why don't we see her on B&B, then? And above all, why doesn't Sally just run into Wyatt while she's in LA so the two of them can have a quick chat about how much she has changed since their last encounter?</blockquote>
