When the 3rd episode finally premiered in The Colbys’ regular timeslot Thursday at 9pm the following night (Nov.28), it was Thanksgiving. Perhaps not the best night for timeslot premiere (though the episode does fittingly open with the Colbys’ thanksgiving dinner).Rumor has it, Charlton Heston unsuccessfully tried to get his old buddy Ronald Reagan to delay his speech on Thursday Nov.21 because of The Colbys originally scheduled timeslot premiere, lol.
