Almost everything Miss Ellie did after Jock passed Lowlights. Wanting to give SF to Garrison (who was away for decades), after Jock saved it, and made it profitable. Wanting to sell Ewing Oil twice. Granted, there were extenuating circumstances, but JR had a point when he said that half would go to Ray and Gary, who did nothing for the company. Bobby did not disagree Furthermore, she never seemed to respect Ewing Oil as Jock's legacy, except when hypocritically lecturing JR and Bobby. Miss Ellie was clearly ignoring Jock's methods of running EO. JR told her as much in season 5. Marrying Clayton, her son's adversary Giving half of SF to Clayton. If she predeceased Clayton, the Ewings would have no claim to the title. Her utter and complete lack of empathy for JR after Haleyville. There is more, but I don't have enough time and space
