The Queen in particular is really well done as a terrific and memorable film monster (notwithstanding the fact that it also typifies the film&#039;s &quot;bigger and better&quot; approach in attempting to outdo the original). It&#039;s also impressive for a film franchise to change genres like this. Still, I do think it&#039;s hugely overrated. For what it&#039;s worth, I&#039;m quite fond of Alien 3. It was the first film in the franchise I watched, and I saw it at a time when it was still the &quot;final&quot; film in the series and so it made quite an impact on me.I know it had a troubled production and never quite lived up to its full potential, but like the first film it takes its time, is thick with atmosphere and - being a David Fincher film - looks great (most of the time).</blockquote>
