I re-watched a Hitchcock classic this last week: "Rear Window". Starring James Stewart, Grace Kelly and the amazing Thelma Ritter. Yes, in Spain it was titled "The Indiscreet Window", for once better than the original title. I had seen this one multiple times, in English and Spanish, but this time I was terrified at how awful the translation of some lines were. As you may know, this is one of 5 movies that Hitch "left" to his daughter Pat and were not screened for decades, along with others from the same period. The dubbing casting was great, but I just couldn´t believe the way some of the words were translated, or maybe it was "professional deformation" from moi... Not a spoiler: this is probably the most heartbreaking moment in the whole movie. Aside from that, I liked it as much as the first time I saw it. Enjoy it!
