Will Warner Bros @Garry still go ahead with plans to release Dallas on Blu-Ray? I only ask because Disney has announced Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3 will be their last Blu-Ray release in Australia. It makes me nervous when I hear some major Hollywood studios are in financial free-fall and are on cost-cutting drives. Pushing up the cost of their streaming services isn't helping matters. I don't see how releasing Dallas on physical media is going to make Warner Bros much money. For me Dallas works better on physical discs because of its extraordinary time on the small screen. I don't wish to see some streaming giant purchase the rights then suddenly remove it due to poor viewing numbers when I'm half-way viewing it. Other streaming services would then shy away from it. I understand for some owning Dallas on physical media may not work but for this avid fan it does.
