Opening scene: Blake and Cristal are both still incredibly angry at Alexis. He dreams of strangling her, she's stabbing embers in the fireplace with the fireplace poker. In his dream, Alexis is actually wearing something that isn't black and white...therefore you know it has to be a dream.
Alexis discovers Adam in her loft (she didn't know he was squatting there). Adam lets her know that he knows the marriage to Jeff is about her getting revenge. He also says he wants to stay neutral in a war between his parents. She tells him no Carrington can remain neutral very long. Adam paints just like his mother.
While sneaking in to snatch some of his things, Adam has a scene with Kirby, who's no longer kicked out apparently. She agrees to help him get his stuff back. They have a moment of him being shirtless, which Anders walks in on and he is not amused. He tells Adam he's not welcome anywhere on the manor grounds. Adam punches his fist through a painting in frustration, allowing Kirby to be reminded that he's a whack job.
Sam is sort of hiding Not!Steven (Fletcher) from everyone, and Fletcher has noticed.
Fallon wants to take Fallon Unlimited international
(I know, just go along) and while meeting with Sam at LaMirage, she realizes the Spanish soccer team staying at the hotel might be her ticket to promoting the...
streaming service?....to the rest of the world. She runs to Culhane and asks to use the game to promote it. He agrees to let her do it.
Alexis suggests to Jeff using Adam to do their dirty work, but Jeff is having none of that. Does Alexis not know about Adam poisoning Jeff?
Attempting to deal with the stress, C3 is using yoga, cleansing, and crystals. C3 (who used to be one of these crystals-and-incense life coaches) is way past the stage of 'getting in touch with her inner peace'. She sees a counselor but doesn't tell the counselor exactly what Alexis did to her. The counselor tells her to go see Alexis, to find an ounce of humanity in Alexis. The visit isn't fruitful. Alexis tells C3 that no matter how awful she (Alexis) behaves, Blake will never "appropriately" punish her, and Blake basically reinforces that opinion when C3 confronts Blake later on.
Fallon learns that Blake has purchased a streaming service of his own, which will be somehow in direct competition with hers, even though hers....doesn't exist yet. Blake claims it's just a coincidence....yeah, uh-huh.
Adam has suddenly decided to be on mother's side, and openly blames
father for the fractures in the family. He even has a brief flashback to his pushing Alexis into the fireplace, begging for forgiveness. She seems willing to take him into the revenge plot against Blake. Adam then pleads his case to Jeff, even apologizes for poisoning him. So Jeff punches Adam in the nose, then lets him in on the plan. Methinks this will not end well.
Fallon creates a "social-media circus" (picketing) at LaMirage in an effort to bring attention to her streaming service, then sabotages the half-time show (the show being produced by Not!Steven) at the soccer game by having Sam don the mascot costume (!!). He ends up catching himself on fire (!!!) during the half-time show. Katy Perry's shark guy never had this problem, did he? Still, gotta give them props for not totally abandoning the soccer team. Not!Steven is hurt that Sam helped sabotage the halftime show and they break up. Culhane is also PO'd at Fallon for turning the game into a fiasco.
Alexis did NOT know about Jeff's poisoning. She's genuinely upset when he tells her, though he only says "I'm still sick." So now the question is what will she do when she finds out her filthy rich husband is on borrowed time?
Adam helps Jeff plant a bug in the hotel room of Blake's business associate (yes, the mustache returns). Jeff is still adamant about not working with Adam, so Alexis comes up with a 'truce' of sorts: with Jeff present, Adam willingly confesses to the poisoning on tape. If Adam tries to double-cross them, then the confession goes to the police, I guess.
Blake has another dream--this time with Alexis, Adam, and Fallon lining up to stab him a la Julius Caesar. C3 says she wants to break this cycle. Blake says the moment he lost his grip was.....the moment he lost Carrington-Atlantic, and he wants it back!
Alexis tries to recruit Fallon to their cause, but Fallon isn't ready to join their "Mod Squad". She declares to one and all that she will no longer live in the shadow of Blake Carrington.
Sam shows up at Not!Steven's house to try to reconcile, but apparently Not!Steven is playing house with another man already. But was he playing house all along? Whatever the case, I has the sads for poor Sam.
While Jeff and Alexis meet with the "bugged associate" to talk secret recordings and blackmail, we see that the meeting is being held in the offices of Carrington-Atlantic. (Yay! It really is back)
C3 calls Beto and tells him that if Blake won't punish Alexis, she will. She wants Beto to have Alexis killed.
