I know you asked me to spotlight him and I will get around to his turn too. But I wanted to start with Jane Fonda since she came out on top when everyone listed their favorite actresses and we hadn't spotlight her yet. So it seemed like a natural choice. :pals:

I think Fonda's great (including her politics). Whenever I see or hear her these days, she's always being interviewed about Dolly Parton.

I've only seen Monster-in-law, and it wasn't very good. I'll skip this round. :)

That movie was truly monstruous, and not only for seeing JLo trying to act!!

I haven't seen those movies. Thanks for the suggestions. Why don't you join in this round?

Lol. I thought I had, but I must have been thinking of when I listed Jane Fonda as one of my favorite actors. As far as jer movies go:
1. Klute
2. They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
3. The China Syndrome
4. 9 to 5
5. Rollover
6.Hollywood Suite
7. Agnes of God
8. The Electric Horseman
9. The Morning After
10. On Golden Pond

Fun trivia: Jane Fonda was offered the role in The Exorcist that eventually was played by Ellen Burstyn(another great actress). She turned it down, calling it "capitalist crap."

Have you seen Klute or The China Syndrome? Great movies.

I have seen Klute once but it was quite a while back, I remember I liked the storyline but I can't say I felt she deserved the academy award for that particular role. I haven't seen The China Syndrome but it's definitely on my list.

I can't find this movie among Jane Fonda's credits. Did you mean the movie California Suite (1978)?

Okay so it looks like your favorite Jane Fonda movie is...

This year the daughter brings a new fiancé and his teenage son to meet her parents for the first time. There is a rift between father and daughter that needs to be bridged before it's too late. In the movie Jane Fonda plays Chelsea and her real life father Henry Fonda plays her father in what would be his last movie role. Katharine Hepburn plays the mother. The movie is directed by Mark Rydell.
