It's going to be awful. And it's not just England
@Noellie Oleson. Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are all affected, but Wales did vote to leave.
I think people will regret voting for it. Northern Ireland are different in that we aren't technically 'out' yet, but I'm disgusted by the UK government and as far as I'm concerned, Arlene Foster can go straight back to hell where she was created.
NI voted NO to Brexit but as usual we just get trailed along with everything England does, and Wales on this occasion too, mainly because people over here are stupid enough to keep a woman in power who is blinded by her own past, rather than concern for NI's future. I sincerely hope the cracks start to show soon and that NI is separated from the UK once and for all. Even older generations than me are now starting to believe a united Ireland is likely.
Thanks to the yes vote it's now going to be harder to travel to Europe, and that's not even the worst thing. It's going to affect so much, including cost of food, easiness of receiving goods etc. Those who voted for it, simply to 'keep foreigners out' (which is incredibly racist), probably don't have the wit to really realise what they were voting for.
I have a close friend who voted yes and now regrets it so much, he is totally embarrassed admitting it to anyone - and he did what he thought was right (nothing to do with 'foreigners' etc).
Oh and I now need a green card to drive in Europe, which for me as an IRISH CITIZEN also means if I cross the border between NI and the ROI.
