In our relentless quest to become better people and to protect our oh-so-fragile children, another historical inaccuracy is being investigated as we speak.
I feel a tiny little titbit is being overlooked in the discussion: the story itself.
He's not A Prince he's THE Prince, the romance is an important part of the story and I think children will get it.
She's not really sleeping, she's trapped in a death-like sleep and that could go on for all eternity (as per the queen's evil spell) unless she's tenderly kissed by a handsome heir to the throne.
Gosh, decision decision.
I mean, FFS, even if she doesn't want to be kissed then at least she wants to be saved? And it was the only thing that could save her.
It's all very self-explanatory, regardless of how real or unreal the story is, and yet that anti-kiss nitwit in the video believes it doesn't belong in our modern society. You mean, like all those great summer hits? Also no longer part of our modern society.
Could this be Satan's work in disguise? Pretending to help us to improve our lives, but in reality squeezing the love and passion and creativity out of it? And if not Satan, then maybe alien infiltrators?
