I’m not the biggest Deacon fan but I do like Sean. He seems like a genuinely nice person and it’s good to see him back on the show. Teaming up Deacon and Sheila is going to cause a lot of problems for the rest of the Forresters.

Sean Kanan was treated very shabbily by General Hospital when they wrote him out. It's one thing to decide you no longer want to write for a certain character, but the way they absolutely trashed his character and then killed him off with little to no "wiggle room" for a return seemed to indicate a mean-spiritedness behind his firing. It wasn't "just business"---it came off as very personal. I mean, they depicted Sonny (the one who murdered AJ) having sex on AJ's grave. Fans of the show at the time were up in arms, but it looked as if the Head Writer and Exec Producer didn't care.

So while I'm glad to see other shows value Sean Kanan's presence and talent, I'm saddened that it looks like Kanan's AJ Quartermaine will likely stay dead on GH despite his value to that show.

Well B&B needs something. Watching this once engaging series now is painful. The same boring dialogue day after day. B&B needs a big event to reenergize it and at the same time kill off some characters, starting with Liam and Hope and others which have no history with the series. Tighten up the cast and throw some dollars at Ron Moss to entice him to come back as Ridge. And for goodness sake give some material for Katherine Kelly Land to sink her teeth into.

AJ was the typical return from the dead show. Everyone was shocked. I was most shocked that Monica was behind it. Conflicts were only of interest for a short time, because of course Michael would eventually choose Sonny as the only father. Elizabeth and AJ weren't a great couple either, because viewers back then preferred Lucky or Nikolas as a partner for Elizabeth. Still, I was surprised when AJ was written off and a little sad too.

Who would have thought Deacon would stay (or come and go) for as long when he showed up as Becky's ex and (fake) Little Eric's father? Even if it's almost forgotten, I liked Deacon and Macy as a couple and still have (the very little) hope that he has hidden Macy somewhere and someday she will return from her coma. It would be nice to see or at least mention the grown-up Little Eric at some point. Wouldn't it make sense if Hope were interested in her half-brother?!?

Not sure....only a rumor, but I read they fired him because of his alcoholism. I love him as Deacon Sharpe.
