Where do I start. Truss voted for and defended the Tory policy to deport Caribbean born Britons who spent almost all of their lives in the UK, worked and paid taxes here and when they got sick in their old age the government denied them health care and threw them out of the country. I think that was one of the most wicked policies I can recall in this millennium.

Truss also voted for and defended the Tory policy to send vulnerable refugees to Rwanda which even our new king said was "appalling". Truss also voted to cut social security for disabled people to make money available for tax cuts for the richest people in society. I don't know what your definition of cruel is but mine is Liz Truss!

It shows she cannot be trusted and that she is a liar and a cheater.

Truss also said "we have seen the highest wage growth in 10 years" which is a lie as wages have fallen during that period.

She also said, “What I’m very concerned about on the TV licence fee is how many women have ended up in prison for non-payment, a disproportionate number" as this lie was her justification for the government decriminalising watching TV without a license. However, you cannot be sent to prison for failing to pay a TV licence fee, only for failing to pay a fine in connection with a conviction for not paying the fee and more men are sent to prison for failing to pay the fine.

I actually thought Rishi Sunak was going to take it, maybe he should've.

Sunak will be a disaster for ordinary people but welcomed by the rich. Expect massive cuts to public services instead of tax increases on the wealthy to balance the books. He is the guy who after all boasted about taking money from "deprived urban areas" to give it to affluent parts of the country.
