I finished this show last night, after spending months on my Sky Planner.
The label on the tin had it down as a comedy drama, and while it didn't deliver the comedy, it certainly brought some great drama.
It centres around four very different woman who take up an extra job selling Anne Summers lingerie and sex aids.
I was reminded of the movie PERSONAL SERVICES and thought fans of that would love this series.
As well has a great leading cast with Penelope Wilton and Angela Griffin, there's a fantastic supporting cast.
Set in the early 80s it's fun packed with so many of those memorable tunes while the surrounding settings display a very bleak Yorkshire.
