I've not finished the episode, Fallon has just walked in on crazy bitch, (not really crazy) with a gun. Sammy Jo is working with Joseph to get out of the cellar and I'm loving every scene. I just had to pause and see what others made of this week's episode.

I'm also concerned that all the food is going to be cold.


Sammy Jo is turning out to be a favourite alongside Fallon, Crazy Bitch (not really crazy) and Anders, it's too tough to call which one is my favourite for this week.

Well that's Claudia all but ruined as off she goes to the nut house. She could return I guess like how original Claudia did but then original Claudia didn't murder Matthew and then hold the entire Carrington family captive at gun point on Thanks Giving. Burn plot burn!

I still think all of Fallon's quips are just TOO MUCH. Tone it down, or at least have the quips be clever. When a character speaks like that all the time it's annoying. She should use them more sparingly. Who would quip like she did when someone was holding a gun at their face? I mean... NO! Nobody would.

I'm dying for Monique to become a fabulous creature. She's just so pointless! Let me see her in the Bahamas in a turban and kaftan decked in jewels and up to no good. Or jet into New York and reveal she's the owner of Titania Records. Or announce the plans for her new fashion line... ANYTHING. Just give her something to do other than enter a scene and leave a scene.

Cecil is now Cisel and is now in the slammer... So I guess this Alexis doesn't inherit her fortune from a Colby! Controversial, but I'm intrigued at where they are going to go with that.

Nicollette just needs to show up now and save this show. She really, really does. She's going to be fantastic.

It would be a shame if she didn't return as she's one the shows better actors. It's just that she's headed for being a ridiculous character. Faked mental illness for years in order to keep her cheating husband and then murders her husband when he's going to leave her. Then she moves in with her dead husbands mistress and plots to seduce her new husband and then kill him. This doesn't work out to plan so she decides to hold the family at gunpoint and then kill them/him?

We are only on episode 7. That's at least two seasons worth of plot.

Agreed. She's really grating on me now. I started out kinda liking her but there just not giving us a whole lot to like. Nobody likes someone who's a smartass all the time. It's getting real old real fast.

So a gang of shady South Americans are coming for the Ewings, I mean Carringtons. I know I'm supposed to care, but I just don't.

Another underwhelming episode for me I'm afraid. Just enough to keep me watching as usual. Alexis can't get here soon enough.

Obviously Cristal gives birth to Kwisteena while Fallon smartasses her way through a business meeting and Steven annoys me. I think Tom Carrington will show up and mention how much he misses Alexis.

I've kind of given up on Fallon. She's been a let down and I really liked the actress too, it's just the writing for her that sucks. She has no bite like original Fallon. Her witty quips are yawnsome and she just sounds like a bratty teen. PSM would NEVER.

I hope Alexis makes them all up their game.

Can anyone tell me if the mansion is all filmed on set or where there parts that were filmed at the actual house? I am guessing the little stairway with window that lead to the gunroom and wine cellar is the real house but that those rooms are a set. Who has backlit wine racks? Surely it would ruin the wine?

Yes and no. I don't think this is ever going to be a very good show, but episode 4 was particularly bad imho. It improves after that.
