Congratulations on 25 years @Ray_Krebbs !

Time does fly by. I lurked on the old Ultimate Dallas forums in the early-2000's, prior to the 2004 DVD season by season sales. It wasn't until 2011 that I got brave enough to join. Indeed what I miss is the former members who have left. There has been some really great people here over the years.

I wish I were here when Dallas, War of the Ewings aired in 1998. I think the original forum started in '97 after Dallas, JR Returns aired.

Does anyone remember our crazy caption thread

So many things were lost in the 2016 crash.

I think I was proudest of the 'Sue Ellen vs. Jesus' thread (containing the unholy prayer 'The Lout and Miss Shepard') and the 'Non-sensical insults' thread (on the DYNASTY page), even if for no reason. But they are now lost to time.

My first experience here was odd -- a precursor to numerous other odd experiences: I also joined 25 years ago, in September 2000 (having nothing to do after nursery school but go online), and I didn't post much in the beginning. And when I returned that following February, I found my chosen screen moniker had been appropriated by someone else, and I had to re-register.

Since then, it's been nothin' but fun!

Still, today, a one-finger typer:

When I hit my 25th anniversary back in June it was hinted that something "silver" would be coming my way. Just my luck: it was my hair.

Around the same time, mine started falling out. Through 2024, I had a luxuriously thick head of completely dark hair. But aging -- or a recently acquired nicotine lozenge addiction -- got to me.

I obtained some of that minoxidil stuff, but I've barely used it. So I guess I don't care.

At my age, avoiding going dead-o early is the primary focus.
