Lance was going to be a daddy, if Lorraine hadn't taken the fatal fall from the fireescape in ChinaTown. Some years later we discovered he already had fathered a child (a little girl Lisa) with Pilar, which he did not realise. However as far as mid point in the series there were no Cumson fathered grandkids. There was a chance with Melissa but complications from the car accident meant she lost the child.
So if Lorraine had stayed on past season 4 and the baby arrived would there have been a happy everafter for the handsome FC pinup? Was this even possible, the way the character was presented over 9 seasons? Lance was born to cheat and he probably would've rekindled with Melissa anyhow in season 6.
