In a cold hospital room Miss Ellie and JR stand alone looking at Bobby's body hooked up to machines in a hospital bed. Miss Ellie holds tight onto JR's arm. She mumbles, "Its better this way. Everyone can move on," and begins to sob.

News broadcast: "Police are still on the look out for Katherine Wentworth following the death of Robert Ewing, youngest son of the late oilman John Ross Ewing, Sr. Miss Wentworth is a suspected in the murder or Mr. Ewing two days ago. Rushed to the hospital following the accident, she has since vanished without a trace."

The family gathers around the plots of a private cemetary in South Fork, a memorial marker to Jock and Garrison, headstones for Miss Ellie's parents and grandparents. Miss Ellie holds Clayton as a casket is lowered into the ground. Cliff holds Pamela. Sue Ellen hold Chris and John Ross. Ray holds Donna. Jack holds Jamie. Gary holds Abbey. Lucy hold Mitch and JR stand alone.

Noticeably missing is Jenna.

Lucy turns and hugs JR, burying her face into his chest. JR holds her tight. Mitch stands by.

Ranch hands begin to fill the grave a shovel at a time.

Miss Ellie walks up onto a private plan with Clayton, Gary and Abbey following her (she'll be in Knots Landing either seen on the show or referenced).

Lucy and the boys horse back ride to the furthest corner of the ranch.

JR looks at a drunken Sue Ellen in the entry and say, "Now you show up. I'm moving into the city. You can stay here until you've drunk yourself to death." She tries to speak. "Don't bother. You never loved me Sue Ellen. But strong enough I . . . Just leave me alone. Last thing I need now is a drunken whore of a wife." He leaves.

Jenna sits by Bobby's grave alone on the cold ground. Her voice unsteady and heaving with having been sobbing, "I'll miss you Bobby. More than you'll know. I wish you could have been with Pam. Just been here. Anywhere. Just as long as you were still alive. Charlie and I are going back to Europe. I'm going to have our baby. I'll tell him all about you. Don't worry about us. I've got some friends that'll take us in until we can get on our feet. I love you Bobby." She begins to ball.

6 months later.

News broadcast: "Jermey Wendell, Chairman and CEO of the West Star Corporation was arrested today on charges of corruption in a book cooking scheme that has torn the company wide open. Shares of West Star stock continue to plummet."

Mitch talks to Lucy out by the pool. She says, "I know but I can't leave John Ross and Christopher. Grandmother is here. Sue Ellen hasn't been sober since . . ."

"I know. What about Pam?"

"She's . . . She totally broken down. With everything that's happen she's got this court case where Herbert Wentworth's estate is sewing her and Cliff, saying Rebecca's will violated the terms of his."

"You're kidding."

"No. I promised I'd take care of Chris. I don't know how to help her."

"And JR?"

"He's searching for Katherine and going after Jeremy Wendell. I don't think he's left the offices of Ewing Oil. Donna's moved out on Ray. All he's doing is drinking."

Mandy walks into the company condo to find JR see off two young girls. "Don't look at me like that. You're no better then them. They're just honest when they take cash." She runs out crying.

Sue Ellen tries to make it down stairs and slips. Rolls down each step and landing at the bottom of the stairs, a clutched letter in her hand falling to the floor.

JR walks into the hospital to be greeted by Lucy. "What the hell happened?"

"She's drunk JR. She's been drunk. Not that you've been home." She hands him the paper and says, "She true to kill her self. For you."

Lucy leaves him. And reads the letter.

Sue Ellen's voice, "I didn't always love you. I married you because that's what I was suppose to do. I thought we had a deal and it's my fault I broke that deal. I feel in love with you. It wasn't right of me to expect you to love me. I'm going to get out of your way JR. I know you'll take care of John Ross. Just please I beg of you, please be happy. For get that Miss Ellie was suppose to give South Fork to you. They hurt you. And I only made things worse. I love you darling. I love you with all my heart. I just wish I could have protected you from them. But instead I made it worse. I always make everything worse. Please JR. Please be happy."

A tear rubs down his cheek.

A doctor says, "Mr. Ewing."

"Yes."

"I'm sorry. There's no easy way to say this. Your wife's live . . . She's dying. She look a lot of pills. We took care of that. But her live is failing."

Jamie walks out to find Pamela sitting by the pool. "I just got a call from Lucy. Sue Ellen's in the hospital. They don't think she's going to make it."

A near comatose Pamela looks at her. "I should go to her."

"I'll drive you."

I noticeably pregnant Donna runs up to Lucy in the hospital. "Where is she?"

"I can take you to her but she's not awake."

"Is Ray here."

"Yea Mitch went and got him. They're in the cafeteria. He needed a great deal of strong coffee.

"Oh my god. What's happened to this family?"

News broadcast: "Ewing Oil and West Star complete their merger today while Jeremy Wendell faces sentencing. Despite continuing to claim West Star's collapsed was due to a conspiracy waged by short sellers, rogue executives, and competitors, he was found guilty on six counts of conspiracy and fraud."

Ray and Mitch join walk into ICU in the middle of a panic. Ray grabs Donna, "What's going on?"

"It's Sue Ellen. She's gone."

"What do you mean gone. She couldn't just walk out."

In a private plan JR leans over to John Ross and says, "There isn't anyway to make it up to you. But I promise you. You're mother will be better."

"They've got a liver waiting for her?"

"Everything's all arranged. I promise you I'll take care of this."

"Why would you two marry each other, if you didn't love each other?"

"It was expected. Made my daddy proud. I said that I didn't love her, that I didn't think she loved me. But maybe she does. I don't know."

"But you lover her?"

"As strange as that sounds after all I told you."

"And there's still a chance Christopher could be your son?"

"There's a chance. But their's no chance your Cliff Barnes's son. I swear to you. But you got yo keep my secrets. I'm counting on you."

"Of course."

Lucy tells Ray, Donna, Mitch, Jamie and Pam that she's sure JR is taking care of Sue Ellen. "They weren't putting her on a list for a transplant because of her drinking and drugs, but we all know JR."

Donna walks with Pamela behind everyone. "How are you holding up?"

"Just a day at a time."

"I heard you lost in court. Are you financially ok?"

"Me? I'm fine. I'm worried about Cliff. He's lost everything. Jamie's trying but he's just gone off drinking like Digger."

"So what happens to your mother's estate?"

"I don't know. I don't know what Herbert Wentworth's will said."

"And no trace of Kathryn."

"None. How are you and Ray?"

"We haven't spoke much in six months. He pretty much just drinks according to Lucy. She's been looking in in him."

"Thank God for Lucy."

Jack pats Ray on the back, sitting at whole in the wall bar. "Come on Cliff. Let's get you home."

"Sue Ellen?"

"Near as anyone can figure JRs got her and John Ross is with him."

Drunk Cliff slurs. "You know that kid's probably mine."

"I've heard, something to that effect. I talked to Donna. She's president of the Independent Oilman's Association. She's got a job for you."

"For me?"

"You're gonna need a job. Something to keep you in the oil game."

"Haven't you heard. I lost Barnes Wentworth."

"What I've heard is even JR saying you'll win something back on appeal. Everyone knows the whole thing's a bunch of lawyers looking to get rich off your family's misfortune. But in the mean time. Let's get you outta here. Jamie's worried about you."

JR introduces John Ross to Holly Harwood and then to a little her, "Your sister, Ellie."

John Ross is very nice to the little girl, makes her laugh and smile and giggle."

Holly says, "I'm very sorry about your mother."

"Thank you. She'll be OK. The surgery went off without a problem."

"Your daddy tells me he's gonna teach you the oil business. You've got a lot a head or you. Ewing Oil merging with West Star."

"A public company's a lot different too. But we can manage. He's given me half of JRE Enterprises. It's a conglomerate to manage his investments. Including his share of Harwood Oil."

"I see. He's really taken you under his wing. You gonna be OK with this secret? I'm not returning to Texas and it's probably best your mother doesn't know."

"Probably best," JR says.

Pamela slides deeper and deeper into depression. Jamie tries to comfort her. She cries, blaming herself for Bobby's death, certain Christopher will blame her too. "I can't take it anymore."

Lucy argues with Dusty in South Forks driveway. "I told you I don't know where she is. None of us do. Since JR's gone we assume he took her out of the hospital."

"And you aren't worried!"

"Of course we are."

"He's gonna let her die."

"Of course he isn't. What ever JR might be he's not going to kill Sue Ellen."

"Promise me as soon as she shows up you call me. I've hired some people to find her but they're getting know where. I'm staying at the Four Seasons."

"Sure. But Dusty, as much as I can't stand my Uncle, he's not going to hurt Sue Ellen. He's got John Ross with him. He'll take care of her."

"I hope so. Because if anything happens to her, I'll kill him. And I don't miss when I shoot." Dusty gets back in his car, sketching down down the driveway.

Lucy rejoins Mitch and Christopher by the pool for dinner.

News broadcast: "The Ewing Corporation announced its IPO today in an effort to crawl out from under crippling debt caused by the acquisition of West Star. The Ewing Family will retain nine percent of the outstanding shares with each of the following family members holding one percent: Eleanor Ewing Farlow, widow of the founder if Ewing Oil, Jock Ewing; his sons JR, Gary and Ray along with Grandchildren John Ross, Charlotte, Christopher and Lucas and cousin Jack Ewing, expected to give the family a combined wealth of just a little over three billion dollars. In addition to giving his son John Ross one percent of the company and retaining one percent for himself, JR Ewing is selling one percent in cash during the IPO in hopes of raising approximately three hundred million dollars in cash to start up JRE Enterprises as a privately held capital venture endeavor. In addition two percent of the outstanding shares will be handed over to create a corporate foundation for charitable purposes. JR Ewing will serve as Chairman and CEO."

Donna gives birth a lone to a beautiful baby girl.

A long black limousine pulls up at South Fork. JR helps Sue Ellen out of the back. John Ross helps as well. She looks relatively good, just weak. Lucy and Chris rush up to see her.

By the pool JR explains, "They weren't going to help her because she'd not been sober for six months and other people were ahead of her on the list. So what's this I hear Mitch has been living her with you?"

"We are married."

"I see."

"He'll be home in about an hour."

"I suppose it'll be nice to have a doctor in the house to look after Sue Ellen."

Lucy looks at him strange.

"So I heard your father out you in charge of his Ewing Oil shares again. Mighty nice of him. Betcha Abbey wasn't too happy about that."

"I don't really care."

"No you wouldn't."

"JR please let's not talk business," Sue Ellen asks.

"Well of course not. It's supper time and you know the rules at South Fork. I'll go get ya a soda water darlin'. You wait right there."

JR leaves and Lucy asks, "You sure that's JR?"

"I don't understand it. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. But it hasn't. He's even stepping down at Ewing Oil."

"No way."

"That's what he says. He'll stay on as Chairman but doesn't intend to go in day to day."

"JR Ewing is retiring?"

"I know. We'll see how long this lasts."

"How are you feeling?"

"Just weak. JRs setting up counseling for us as a family. I kid you not. All three of us."

"Really? I'll be damned."

JR returns with drinks and says, "You're a Ewing sweetheart, don't you know we been cheatin' the devil since your granddaddy done set us up in the oil business."

"Well I don't about me, but you sure have."

I'm wee hours of the morning JR meets in the den of South Fork with Jack and an Hispanic man about his age. "Carlos her is gonna run a company I been working on. Branch Water. We been hiring former Navy Seals and Army Rangers. Some CIA and a Mossad fella. Carlos and I are old college roommates. He'll be meeting with us Monday mornings. Jack here's my right hand man. He'll be helping me on everything I need." As JR finishes a nock comes from the door and he tells them to come in. Teresa shows Donna in, as well as a young mid-twenties Asian man. "Welcome, Donna. Qi-Li. This is Jack and Carlos. Qi-Li is brilliant with economics. We're gonna see how he manages accountants and lawyers in running JRE Enterprises. And you Donna, she's impressed the hell out of me running the Independent Oilman's Association. But I think it's about time you shows these old oilmen what a woman can do in this business. I want you in as President and CEO of Ewing Oil."

Donna looks at him in shock. "You can't be serious?"

"You done it before darlin'. Now I know your a new mother and all but I'm sure you can balance the two."

"And deal with your dirty business dealings. No thank you."

"No you got old JR wrong. I'm retired. And Ewing Oil is number 19 on the Forbes list. I don't want no dirty dealin's. I want stead growth. We've bringing in fourteen and a half billion dollars with seven hundred million in profit. What we need is someone with some respect in business. I heard rumor we get a Democrat in the White House in a couple years, you're Secretary of Energy. That's what we need. I'm strictly hands off darlin'."

"I certainly don't believe you for one second, JR. You've got something up your sleeve. I just haven't figured it out yet."

"Darlin' I'm just tryin' to put this family back together. Sue Ellen 'ill be joining us from time to time. When she's well enough she'll be taking care of the Ewing Foundation. President and on a board with me and momma. And you let me see to that knuckle-headed husband of yours."

"Stay out of it JR."

"Darlin' I'm about the least please he's family, but he's gotta step and get ta running this ranch. And he's got responsibilities. He's been spiraling out of control now for nine months. This has gotta end. He just sold his Ewing Oil shares this morning. You know what dumping all those shares in the market at once does?"

"I can imagine."

"Price is in a free fall sweetheart. Don't worry I sent Vaughn Leland over to speak to him about setting up a trust fund for his child. Margret? How sweet. Naming her after his momma. Now if I was my daddy I'd threaten to kick his ass over the county line if he don't straighten himself out and take care of his baby girl. But as is, I'll have to get a bit more creative."

"Back off JR."

"Now you known me long enough by now. When have I ever backed off?"

Pamela sits on the floor of a steaming hot shower with blood mixed with water running down the drain. Jamie reluctantly peeks in to find her. Yelling for Cliff and Jack to help.

A doctor approaches Cliff. Jamie and Jack step up next to him. "There were a lot of drugs in your sisters blood Mr. Barnes."

"She was prescribed anti depressants."

"That's the strange thing. They aren't the drugs prescribed to her. These are other things. I need you to bring in her medications. And search her room. See if you can find something else she might have got ahold of."

"What? She hasn't even been out of the house in a month. Where would she get drugs from? Jamie and Jack and I have been living with her. Well I've been in DC a lot but they've kept and eye on her."

"She's a wealthy woman. I'm sure she could get something brought to her. But what she took, its very dangerous. She's very lucky the three of you were living with her."

Sue Ellen sits by the Pool with Dusty. "Thank you for checking on me. I do appreciate it. But really I'm fine. Weak, but I'm fine."

"I'm sorry. I just can't believe JR's been taking care of you."

"He did more than that. He saved my life."

Lucy comes running out of the house, "Pam. She's in the hospital. She just tried to kill herself!"

The Entire Ewing clan comes walking into the hospital together.

Cliff says to Jamie, "Oh God. What the hell is he doing here?" Then he sees Christopher. "I don't think it's a good idea for him to see her like."

JR says, "Hell Barnes it's a good idea for her. She needs to see her son so just step on outta the way."

Jamie says, "Really Cliff. He's probably right."

JR and John Ross go to accompany Christopher."

"He ain't gotta go in with him."

"He's my cousin," John Ross says. "I ain't letting him be alone."

"You heard my son termite. Step aside."

Jamie pulls Cliff out of the way and the three proceed.

Christopher runs up to Pamela. Pamela's so happy to see him she cries. She hugs both boys.

JR says, ain't no one know more what you're going through then me, 'cept maybe momma. But you gotta pull yourself together. You're this little boys mother. I ain't gonna let you take that away from him too."

"Oh JR. Please leave me alone," she cries.

"Well I guess I have that comin'. I'm gonna go over here and sit. You just visit with the boys. And Pam . . . I don't know how many times I stood in my shower contemplating the same thing. But it's the last thing Bobby would have wanted."

With other family members in Pam's room JR walks down the hall and speaks to Carlos. "Well?"

"The doctor was right. None of these pills she was taking matches their prescriptions." He hands JR the bottles.

"Well if I wasn't drugging her, then who the hell was?"

"I'm working on it. There only so many people with access."

Ray walks out of Pam's room and JR goes over to him. "We gotta talk Ray."

"Not now JR."

"Yes now. Sue Ellen's going to a AA meeting tonight. You're going with her."

"Hell if I am."

"You're going with her. You're a mess. I mean even for you. You even seen that little girl of yours?"

"Don't lecture me on fatherhood JR."

"You listen to Vaughn Leland."

"Yes. Put all the money aside for Margret."

"That's a lot of money."

"I don't want it."

"What do you want Ray?"

"I want my brother back."

"Yeah well we finally found somethin' we got in common."

"Yea well I didn't have Jeremy Wendell's life to destroy to take my mind off things."

"You think I did that?"

"I know you did. I'm pretty sure you killed someone to get Sue Ellen a liver, though not sure why, unless you just enjoy hurting her that much you wanta kept her around."

"You done?"

"I just wanted out of Ewing Oil with you doing what you want unchecked. And if Miss Ellie don't come back soon, I'm leaving South Fork as well."

"You know I use to think I could see a bit of my daddy in ya. Not that I liked it one bit. A person don't wanta wake up and find he's got some bastard out there movin' in on his family. But I guess I was wrong, cause no son of Jock Ewing's would shirk his responsibility for being a good father. Well except for Gary that is." JR leaves Ray standing in the hall.

Sue Ellen sits watching Ray stand and introduce himself at an AA meeting."

The Ewing's gather in the living room before dinner. Lucy holding Margret. Ray sitting with Donna. Mitch comes in last. JR says, "I don't wanta her nothing about medical emergencies. Dinners at 6 sharp. You tell that woman next she'll have to come back in the morning to get the fat sucked off her." Everyone complains about JR's comment. The boys are grossed out.

Then Miss Ellie and Clayton show up. She says, "We just came from visiting Pam." Everyone but JR makes a fuss over their arrival.

She steps up to JR. "I hear you've made a lot of decisions about Ewing Oil in my absence."

"Some one had to look out for Bobby's interests. He's got three kids and his will only accounted for two of them. Pam agreed with me we had to include Jenna's baby."

"And Charlie?"

"Bobby's will included that girl. It wasn't my idea."

"But it benefited you so you could take control of everything. And of course Jenna and Pam weren't in any state of mine to discuss anything with you."

"Bobby's estate was worth one billion dollars momma. I didn't exactly rip him off."

"But he's out of your way just like you got rid of my son Gary."

"What now you're accusing me of wanting Bobby dead."

"Worked to your advantage. You destroyed Jeremy Windell just like your daddy destroyed Digger Barnes. And I have no doubt you're behind this law suit over Herbert Wentworth's will to destroy the Barnes."

"No. Can't say I am. Though it's a good one who's ever behind it. Donna offered Jamie a job though."

"Donna?"

"I hired her to run Ewing Oil."

"What the he'll are you up to JR?"

"Up to? You mean like the bull daddy played on me over his will. You know as well as I do he promised me Ewing Oil. Just like your daddy promised me South Fork. But instead you go give half of it to Clayton. He'll probably leave it to that saddle tamp son of his like you'll leave your half to Gary to drink away."

Clayton goes to speak and Miss Ellie says, "No I want to hear this."

"Now you stand her accusing me of being happy Bobby's gone. No matter what went down between us, daddy playin' us off one and other, I new he loved me. That's a hell of a lot more than I can say for anyone else in this room. You including you momma. When was it you stopped caring about me? When daddy came home from the war and took me off to Ewing Oil? Wasn't before that when you held me crying 'cause you were scared. Or the time when he was gone you lost that baby and I had to take care of you. So when was it momma? When did South Fork mean so much more than me? Because if I knew it was hurting you, that you needed it for what ever reason, yeah there was a time I'd have burned it to the ground. You asked me once if I even cared about your happiness. I'll give you the same answer you been giving me. No." JR walks out of the room.

Clayton tries to hold Miss Ellie but she won't let him. She sits down.

The family tries to comfort her. She says, "No he's right. I stopped loving him the day Jock cane home"

"That's not true, Grandma," Lucy says, "You were just busy with Gary and the ranch while he was off with Granddad."

"No. I did. He left me and he took Jock away from me. And I hated him for it."

John Ross finds his father out back walking toward the cars. "I love you."

JR stops. Without turning around he says, "I didn't mean you John Ross. I don't mean this to sound wrong. But I can care if you love me or not. I love you. And even if you hate me, I always will. And I'm gonna leave things better for you. When I leave you Ewing Oil you won't have to fight anyone for it. I just wish I could leave you South Fork."

"I don't care about South Fork. I just care about you. Please dad. Please don't go. I can't go with you. Mom needs me. But I need you."

JR grabs his face to stop from crying.

John Ross steps up to his dad and grabs his from behind. JR turns around and picks up his boy and hugs him.

Miss Ellie sits down on the sofa next to Sue Ellen and says, "How are you doing?"

"I'm doing OK."

"We flew back when we heard but as soon as we got to the hospital Lucy told us you were gone."

"JR took me to California. He made all the arrangements. He saved my life. He's been very attentive ever since. He even found me a new job. Made me President of the Ewing Foundation. I guess the three of us, you me and JR are it's board. He's building a new trauma center in Dallas and a research center for brain injuries. He's naming them after Bobby."

Miss Ellie holds her hands. "Why did you marry JR?"

"Because he was JR Ewing, the heir to Ewing Oil and South Fork and I was raised to be his wife."

"But you fell in love with him."

"When JR pays attention to you, there's something about it, something that makes you feel special. I suppose that's why it hurts so bad when he takes it away from you."

"I know what you mean." Miss Ellie hugs her. "He does love you. I know he does. He's just, he's just gonna hurt you before you can hurt him."

"I know he does. It's just . . . It's not enough. It can't fix what's been done."

"I'm so sorry Sue Ellen." The two women hold each other. Miss Ellie then turns. D says, "Ray. Lucy tells me you weren't there when Margret was born. That's not acceptable. You've neglected your ranch and left your job at South Fork to others."

"Yes ma'am. I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself."

"There's been a lot of that going on. And Mitch. Welcome back to the family. Lucy says you moved in."

"Just temporary."

"Yes. I suppose so. There's a cottage out back. You can have that. Fix it up any way you like. Be perfect for the two of you, maybe even a little one or two. Clayton and I bought a house in Knots Landing. We're looking in the Preston Hollow neighborhood in Dallas for another house." She stands up and walks out of the room.

Outside by the Pool JR tells John Ross stories of his father taking him and his Uncle Bobby hunting and fishing; Gary would never go.

Miss Ellie comes out of the back of the house and steps up to them. "JR can I talk to you?"

"It's your house."

"That's what I want to talk to you about. I came back her to give the ranch to Lucy, but it belongs to you. And I can't tell you what to do with it. I'm just going to ask that you take care of the land and leave it to John Ross. And that both of you remember this is a family home. Everyone's welcome, but first and foremost it's yours. You do what you think is best. And um, thank you for the shared in Ewing Oil. And putting me on the board of the foundation. I'm going to donate my shares to the foundation. And you're wrong." She placed her hand on his shoulder. "I do love you. When things are bad I always think of Gary. Gary will hold me like you use to . . . before your dad came home from the war. But when they're really bad, I count on you to take care of me. That wasn't right of me. I always said you were a lot like your father, but really, you're a lot like my grandfather."

Miss Ellie walks back to the house.

JR says, "I love you momma. And thank you."

In the early morning hours JR meets with Donna, Qi-Li and Carlos. He hands some papers to Donna. This turns South Fork over to Ewing Oil. I'm counting on you figuring out how to get the oil off this property without harming the land or the cattle operation. But I want it bleed dry so there's never any drilling to be done later. The money will go to JRE. So Qi-Li, you'll be even busier then you thought."

Qi-Li says, "Jack's going with me to Northern California to look into cone computer software investments. Then to Detroit to look into hardware. I'll keep you posted."

Donna says, "You wanted me to bring up several middle eastern leases West Star had that no one can get to."

"Ah yes. Carlos. Meet with Donna and see what you can do to provide security. We want those wells on line."

Donna says, "I'm also concerned a lot of our debt is being consolidated in the hands of Texas Standard Bank and Trust. I'm guessing they're gonna want to turn it into an equity share."

"Work out the arrangements. Not a bad idea if we can wipe some debt off the books. Qi-Li, look into buying enough shares to get you on the board of Texas Standard. Maybe Donna too."

News broadcast: "Kathryn Wentworth returned to Texas today with a full pardon from the governor stating the incident that took the life of her x-brother-in-law, Bobby Ewing, was an accident. Kathryn Wentworth serves on the board of directors of Wentworth Industries, Wentworth Tool and Die, Wentworth Oil, Texas Standard Bank and Trust and Commedia. Kathryn Wentworth is Herbert Wentworth's only heir, after months of legal ramblings, with an estimated three and half billion dollars fortune. Ms. Wentworth said she returned to look out for here nephew as her half sister Pamela was committed to a mental institution following an attempted suicide. A court awarded Ms. Wentworth custody of her Nephew, Christopher Ewing and control oh the trust fund left behind by his father which includes over one billion dollars in stock in The Ewing Oil Corporation."

A long black limousine turns onto the South Fork driveway followed by several Texas State Rangers. They pull up on the side and the Rangers accompany Kathryn to the front door. She walks in.

JR with the boys walks into the Entry from the back.

Miss Ellie and Clayton turn around in the living room to watch the scene unfold. Jock's picture hangs above the bar again. There have been a few other changes to the living room.

JR says, "What the hell are you doing walking in my house?"

She hands him a paper. "I've come here to get Christopher."

Christopher holds tight to JR. John Ross covers Christopher.

"That ain't gonna happen. I don't care about your court order. You come near this boy I'll break your neck."

Ray walks in the front door and around them with several ranch hands, all armed. Carlos walks out into the balcony above.

"Mr. Ewing you don't want a go there," a Ranger says.

"Yes I do. This is my brothers boy and ain't no one taking him from South Fork. I'll make you a deal Kathryn. I won't contest your taking control of the trust fund that contains Bobby's three percent of Ewing Oil, if you just turn around and walk away."

"I already got that JR."

"With one hitch. Pam only controls the non Ewing Oil money. I did control the shard. So that court order don't mean a damn thing for what you really want. Two separate trusts. You leave that boy here and you can control both."

"Alright. But I'll be sending over paper work to make sure of it. And I'll be keeping custody. Because if I ever need it, I intend to use it."

"Send over what you want darlin'. I'll sign it." JR says turning Chris over to John Ross and approaching Kathryn.

"And I want a seat on the board of Ewing Oil so I can keep and eye on it."

"Done. But you better remember, Ole JR's keepin' an eye on my brother's money, you misappropriate one dime and you'll answer to me."

Kathryn laughs, "I don't need his money. I'm a billionaire, haven't you heard?"

"I've heard. Have you heard?" JR leans forward and whispers, "I'm coming for you."

Looking scared Kathryn chokes out, "Bobby got in the way."

"I don't care darlin'. You're in my way now. Feels like someone walkin' cross your grave."

Kathryn straight her self out and walksout the front door saying, "Make sure you keep up your end."

JR slams the door after them. JR looks up at Carlos, "I want a gate by the road. And I don't care, search warrant or not, she does get on South Fork. In the morning we figure out who her friends are and take them out, one by one." JR then walks to the back of the house.

The boys go into the living room with their grand parents.

Donna meets with JR in the stables. Without looking at her she says, "Kathryn acquired one percent of Ewing Oil. About three hundred thirty million dollars."

"That's in addition to Bobby's shares."

"What?"

"To keep her from taking Christoper I gave her control over Bobby's shares, another three percent."

"She's behind Texas Standard Bank's buying up our debt. I'm pretty sure she has control of it."

"I am sure."

Ray says to Donna's surprise, "What are we gonna do?"

JR turns to them and answers, "Make her pay for what she did. Call Cliff. I want to meet with him. We're finally on the same side. That bitch has been drugging Pam. I'm send Carlos over there to set up security. I want momma and Clayton back on South Fork."

Ray says to Donna, "I want you back here too."

"OK. I'll move back. But I want my own room. Until we can figure us out."

JR chuckles, "Got the same set up with Sue Ellen."

Jack goes over financials with Qi-Li. "That's s lot of money. I don't get it. Why JRE and give up control of Ewing Oil."

"He hasn't given up control of Ewing Oil. The devil's in the details when it comes to running a public company. But JRE provides enormous diversity both to protect his money and grow it. He's managed to start with three hundred forty-five million selling one percent of Ewing Oil to Ewing Oil. Now he's setting it up with all the money that will be coming in from South Fork Oil." Looking Jack in the eye Qi-Li smiles and touches his hand on the table, keeping it there.

After a bit of tension Jack removed his hand and asks, "What's this?"

"These are the financials of Harwood Oil. Holly Harwood is selling some of it and buying one percent of Ewing Oil."

"Is JR buying into Harwood Oil?"

"No. He's been a consultant to the company. He says he wants me to keep a close eye, with her buying so much of Ewing Oil."

"Makes since."

"Can I get you a drink Jack?"

"Yeah. I suppose so. Bourbon. Net."

Qi-Li jumps up and gets it, talking about a play coming to Dallas next week and other trivial things. Handing him the glass he caresses his hand.

"Those are financials on a deal JR got wind of that Cliff Barnes is putting together. He's hobbling together some money for a production sharing agreement with Barnes Oil and Al Ain National Oil."

Jack stands to face him, uncomfortable with Qi-Li standing over him. "I thought he lost Barnes Oil."

"No. Barnes-Wentworth. His sister, Katherine, dropped Barnes from the name and he filed papers to conduct business as Barnes Oil. Apparently his position as President of the Independent Oilman's Association is of interest to several middle eastern friends of his. He and his wife are building the company together. Another thing JR wants me to keep an eye on."

"I'm sure JR's angling to use Cliff to get at some of those oil deals for himself."

"From what I've ascertained, Mr. Ewing has a history of using people." The two stand very close to each other, only a breath apart.

"Some people like to be used."

Qi-Li smirks. "Some do."

Jack reaches around him, grabs up his ass and pulls him in to a strong kiss which leads to the two uncontrollably undressing each other.

Katherine meets in an office with two older men. She hands one a list, "I want you to work on each one of these members of Ewing's board. I don't expect to have JR or Jack's support. Or even Donna Krebs. But if you want to stay on running Texas Standard Bank, I'd better have yours and everyone else on that list." Then she looks at the other man. "And Cliff hired you to set up his books?"

"Wasn't a problem."

"Good. I want those Al-Ain connections of his in the middle east."

From the doorway, Jeremy Wendell says, "You're in my seat."

Katherine laughs, "Everything in this building is mine Mr. Wendell. Including you." She sands. "Have you ever read the Art of War? Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak. You've mastered the latter." She steps out of the way of the desk. "But don't forget I've mastered the my position as well. Please sit. This is Doulas Bannon. He's working for Cliff. And David Miller. He's the President of Texas Standard Bank."

Donna arrives home to find Ray sitting on the sofa, one leg bent over the other to bounce a sleeping Margret. She shhhhhhh's her and then picks up and quietly takes her into the next room.

Returning he quietly says, "She's been fusing for a couple hours now. I just got her to sleep."

"I thought you had a lot of work to do to day."

"I came in for lunch. Besides, South Fork's not going anyplace. All that work will just be there tomorrow."

"True." Donna smiles at Ray.

JR walks with Ellie in a park in Los Angles. "Do you know a father's job is?"

"You run a gas station company."

JR laughs. "That's true, but not my job, why child have fathers? You know how your mother feeds you and takes you shopping."

"That's Mrs. Powell."

"I see. Well, my role is to protect you. Make sure you're safe and looked after. Mrs. Powell washes you up and I make sure no one harms you. But you always have to be honest with me. Promise."

"Yes daddy."

"You're safe and happy now?"

"I guess so."

"Is there something you're not telling me?"

"Well Mrs. Powell makes me eat broccoli and I hate it. She says I have to eat it until I like it."

JR laughs. "Well you do have to eat foods which are good for you. Sometimes the foods we like the best aren't good for us."

"Why?"

"Really I don't know. But they're not."

"Like candy?"

"That's right. But we don't have to eat something we don't like. There are plenty of good foods. I'll talk to Mrs. Powell."

"Really daddy!"

"No worries sweet pea."

She hugs her father.

Miss Ellie and Sue Ellen walk with Pamela on the grounds of a mental hospital. They assure her the Christopher is doing well. Lucy and Mitch took him on a trip to New York City and he was excited to see the "dinosaur" museum. Pam tells them she got a call from Jenna about visiting. The two think it would be a great idea."

Jack discusses a deal with Cliff, he's running Burton Field Services and wants to sign Cliff. Cliff says, "But you didn't tell me that JR owns the company."

"Just twenty perfect. And I own twenty percent. Besides JR doesn't have anything to do with the company. The shares are owned by JRE, which Qi-Li runs. JR probably doesn't even know he owns it."

"Oh don't you bet on it."

"You really think JR's worried about you when he's got Kathryn to deal with? Speaking of which, have you seen her?"

"No. And I'm kinda hoping that I'll be the last person she wants to see."

Sue Ellen meets in the living room of South Fork with the DOA. The woman discuss how the house is now hers and JR's and that they'll be hosting a cocktail party before the Oil Barons Ball. They talk about a fundraiser for a new Children's Hospital building and Sue Ellen mentions the Ewing Foundation of which she is President. She points out that Lucy is in the board with her and so is Miss Ellie. "Just he three of us. Makes it easier to get along."

A Ewing Oil board meeting begins to gather, fifteen members including Jack and JR. Donna asks JR if Kathryn will show up. "Oh I'm sure she'll be here."

Jeremy Wendell is the last to show up. "Looking disturbed JR."

"Herd you got the governor to give you pardon too. Guess he's givin' those out like candy. But that don't mean you're welcome here."

"Feels like home since most of this company is West Star."

"I'd think any roof over your head and three squares be a good home for a man as broke as you."

"Broke?" Jeremy laughs. "Haven't you heard. I'm married to Kathryn Wentworth. That's why I'm here."

"Well don't that beat all. Still picking up my left overs, Wendell."

Jeremy noticed the photo of Jock with JR and Bobby on the wall next to one of Donna. "Nice pictures."

"Those are the leaders of this here company. My cousin Jack here," JR grabs his shoulder, "He's going up next."

"Nice. Keep it in the family. Jack, since I'm married to your sister's sister-in-law, I guess that makes us family too."

Donna asks everyone to take their seats.

Kathryn walks through the modest offices of Barnes Oil brushing off the one secretary and walking in Jamie's office where she meets with Cliff. "Well brother dear. Looks like you've made a new start of things. Jamie Ewing, Kathryn Wentworth." She holds out her hand with an enormous diamond rink. Jamie shakes it. "Must be nice to have the position of Presidency of the Independent Oilman's Association to help you out here."

"Why don't you get out of here Kathryn?"

"Now Cliff. Your not made at me because of my daddy's will are you. It should have happened a long time ago. I'm sure your daddy left you and Pam something."

"I don't give a damn about it. You killed Bobby."

"That was an accident."

"Of course it was. I came back to speak to Pam. To make things right between the two of us. Just like I want to do with you. We're family."

"What is it you want?"

"I bought a table for the Oil Barron's Ball. I hope you and Jamie will attend. And please bring Jack. I have someone I'd like him to meet. An old friend."

"I don't think he'd like any old friend of yours."

"An old friend of his. Now please don't be difficult. I'll tell you what. I'll make the Wentworth Group available to you. Any of the many company's will help you. I'm told they're working on a fracking technology that will be a game changer. Please. And bring Pam with you."

"Pam is going on a trip with Christoper to Europe, to get away."

"Oh good for her. I think that's a wonderful idea. Please tell her she can use my townhouse in London and I have a place in San Moritz and the South of France. What ever she wants. Well, I'll leave you to work. I'll have my people call you. Take care Cliff. Nice to meet you Jamie."

Kathryn steps in the back of her limousine sitting next to a man who says, "I've found a house to look at. It's right down the street from your sister, around the corner from the Farlow's."

"Perfect. Cozy."

The Ewings gather before dinner in the living room. JR makes Jack a drink as Donna and Ray walk in. Donna asks where's Lucy?"

Sue Ellen answers, "She's back in New York. I guess Mitch might have a new job lined up."

"Well won't that be nice for her. New York would be the perfect place for a young girl like Lucy," JR says.

Miss Ellie and Clayton walk in next and Miss Ellie asks, "What about Lucy?"

"Well momma a hospital up in New York City is courtin' Mitch."

"But they just bought a house by us," she says noticing a portrait of Bobby on the wall. Looking around she see's a few changes but smiles that her granddads picture is still up.

JR says, "She can maintain two homes. After all with all Gary's shares in Ewing Oil."

"I suppose so." Miss Ellie takes a seat next to Donna on the sofa. "How are you and Ray doing?"

"Pretty good actually. He spends more time with Margret than you can imagine. He takes her all over the ranch."

"Really."

"She sleeps more in hand pickup truck than at home."

"Well that's wonderful."

"And you?"

"I work a lot."

"Too much I imagine. I know the hours Jock had to put in running a business. I can't believe JR's around South Fork so much. He has these Monday morning meetings, well you know you're there. And a few other things but honestly he's here with John Ross more than anything."

"Ray told me. JR even watching as John Ross helped mend a fence."

JR says, "I'd like to propose a little toast to Donna who talked me into investin' in Solmar, a solar energy company. We're diversifying in all sorts of energy technologies. The man's Ewing will mean energy in this country, thanks to Donna. So here's to Donna Krebs, the one woman in business that can impress ole JR."

They toast to Donna and she responds not knowing what JR is up to.

"Nothin' darlin'. Nothin' at all. Ewing Oil needed a bright mind and a friendly face. I sure wasn't gonna be the friendly one. You've helped make us all kindsa friends. My little bother Bobby would be proud."

Teresa speaks to Sue Ellen and she announces dinner is ready. John Ross meets them waking into the dinning room.

Up stairs JR watches Sue Ellen turn, walking to their old room.

John Ross say, "Good night. Love you dad. Love you mom."

Looking at him between the two of them as he slips into his room they tell him they love her too.

With John Ross's door closed JR says, "I was wondering Sue Ellen about this fabric you picked out for my room. It's a bit feminine don't you think?"

"No I didn't think so."

"I was thinkin' its more your taste. Why don't you take the master bedroom. I'll go back to our old room . . . if ya want."

"Are you sure."

"If ya want darlin' but I gotta tell ya, I ain't got a wink of sleep sleeping alone."

"JR."

"Darlin' just one night. For old time's shake."

"I'm going to regret this," Sue Ellen says walking down the hall toward him. JR takes her in his arms and they enter the master bedroom together.

Cars pull up to South Fork. Inside friends and family gather. JR and Sue Ellen host a cocktail party. The Anderson's are there. JR introduces Jack to their granddaughter Amy. "I hope the two of you will spend some time together. Jack here don't have a date either."

"I'm sitting with my father. Apparently my mother couldn't make it."

"I'm sitting at a table with my sister and her family. I guess I'm expecting a surprise guest."

"That could be awkward."

At Pam's house Jamie and Cliff greet guests including the Lee's. Jordan asks how Pam is doing. Cliff says, "Just fine. I think it's doing her a world of good to be out of here."

"Still hard to believe Bobby's gone. Even harder to believe JR's put Donna in charge. Kinda hard to say no to her. Suppose that's why he choose her."

Cliff says, "Yeah, you can trust her. But can she trust JR."

"That's the thing. But that was always the question with Bobby having JR behind him. How's that oil company of yours going. I hear you got some Middle East leases."

"Yeah were gettin' there."

There's a bit of a rumble come over the house as Kathryn and Jermey walk through the house.

Kathryn kisses Jamie on both cheeks and introduces her husband and his son, David, and David's wife, Lilian."

Everyone arrives at the Oil Baron's Ball, mingling on their way to their tables. The Ewing table sits up front. JR greet Qi-Li along the way and Lucy and Mitch join the rest of the family.

Sitting down Lucy announces she and Mitch are moving to New York. She assures her disappointed grandmother she's keeping the house and will be back often.

Note: set up for a spin off with Lucy and Mitch and others living in an apartment building in New York City: Bergman Square.

Jack joins Cliff's table where The Wendell's take there seat, absent Kathryn. Behind him Kathryn introduces him to Becky. He turns around, rather up set, "This is your surprise."

Jamie asks, "You known her?"

"Yea. I was married to her sister, long time ago, for a couple weeks."

Becky says, "Until she found us in bed," leaning in and kissing Jack's cheek."

"Oh, you're that girl," Jamie says.

At the bar Qi-Li asks Jack about the girl he's sitting with. "Just an old girlfriend."

"Old or back with her? She awful touchy."

"Don't you start."

"I was thinking you'd could come over tonight."

"We'll see."

"Oh I see. In case she puts out you, I'll just be your back up."

"Keep your voice down. What the hell. And and of course not. That's not it at all. She caused me more trouble than I care to remember."

Donna and Ray dance next to Miss Ellie and Clayton. JR and Sue Ellen join them. JR says, "That Barnes table looks awful tense."

Miss Ellie says, "What are you doing about that woman?"

"Don't worry momma. I got all well in hand. Got a few curve balls but nothing I can't handle. Sent Pam with Christopher out of the county, took care of that mess."

"That was your idea?"

"Called up Jenna. Explained the whole thing. I promised Bobby I'd take care of the family. I got this momma."

"I sure hope so. I can stand being in the and room with that woman."

"No one can," Ray says.

That night JR takes a walk out by barns. Carlos says, "That woman has some powerful friends. But she's also got so some powerful enemies."

"I like to meet some of them."

"The more I dig into that Wentworth family the worse it gets. I can tell you this. Her mother's death wasn't an accident."

"Really."

"I'm still working on it, but Wentworth Tool and Die is a lot more valuable than its share price would indicate. It's got technologies that are real game changers. I'll keep digging. These aren't the kinds a people you want to introduce yourself to without being prepared."

Interesting take on the dream season. :)
I like that Lucas exist in your story. I think Jenna having Bobby's baby if he was gone would been different from how it played out on the show.

I also like that you included Lucy & Mitch in your story. :)

I like that Pam is a mess without Bobby. I never did like how she just magically moved on with Mark Graison on the original show.

I don't like JR having a baby with Holly. I mean Holly hated him so I can't see her ever giving birth to his child.

I agree - the Mark Garrison thing was very troublesome to me. I mean if they were Romeo and Juliette.

Don't worry about Holly. She still hates him. But in order to keep him at bay with her daughter she's had to agree to a most impossible situation. I think he'd make a great father to a little girl and it would be reason to see him softening toward lechery with women. It's also something HL Hunt did - keep a secret family. But yes Holly HATES JR. You'll see that harded. And there's a surprise for Sue Ellen in store. It also shows how he's keeping secrets with John Ross.

Thank you for the feedback. I didn't want the saddess to last for many episodes but I didn't want everyone to just move on. So I speed through a year. I hope that was ok.

So Bobby's three kids are together, Jenna and Pam helping each other.

Lucy and Mitch I think would make a great show of their own.

And now that everything is set up the fight is about to begin.

I agree but I'd like for it to be JR/SE's child. I mean since this is still in the 1980s and only two years after Sue Ellen had a miscarriage it would have been possible!

I bet if they had known back in the 1980s that Dallas would have made a return some 20-30 years later they probably would have written in a sibling for John Ross. But hindsight is everything.

Honestly I hadn't thought about that. I guess in my mind it was always best that John Ross was an only child. Tell ya what. I'll leave in the Holly Harwood bit as it shows JR being like HL Hunt, and there's some drama to come in to play yet, but I'll also toss in a baby with him and Sue Ellen.

I made a mistake. The first posting was two hours that should have been Episodes 1 and 2. Then the next would have been 3.

Episode 4: As Time Goes By

With the dramatic change with Bobby's death I'd use a tool seldom used in drama but often in sitcoms, the flash back episode. I'd start with Miss Ellie, Sue Ellen, Donna and Lucy all sitting around the back porch one evening reminiscing and use flash backs throughout. Then for a second hour I'd show the pilot to Lucy's new spin off show on which Miss Ellie and Clayton guest star. The following week this Spin off should have fit in Dallas's time slot and the fit into its regular time slot - just an idea.

Episode 5: The Ewing and Barnes Feud Part 2

On a private jet Kathryn says to Jeremy, "I'm sure the Ewing's though their Feud with the Barnes was rather fun. And you and JR had your moments, but when I'm done with them, I'll have Ewing Oil and South Fork and JR in prison. And my brother as broken as Digger Barnes."

"Who are these people we're meeting?"

"Associates of my father's. After Riyadh we'll meet Cliff in Al-Ain. He might hate me, but he needs my money too much right now. JR's sent Pam on to Switzerland with Christopher. I've got some people watching him. If need be they'll grab him and bring him back to Texas. Everything's coming along just fine. This took me use to plan. And it's going to be so worth it."

"Revenge."

"Reckoning."

"I yet to understand why kill Bobby?"

"I didn't intend to. I'd gone to Pam's to tell her I had my father's will and that what she and Cliff had belonged to me. Scare her you know. Then I saw her with Bobby. I hate that self righteous bastard. But the smug look on her face. I just floored it."

"You tried to kill Pam?"

"She and Cliff took everything that belonged to me. And then she thought she was going to get Bobby back. I just saw red. When I came to in the hospital I made a phone call and got out of there."

"I see. What I have to know is that you're ok now. We can't afford anymore of those momentary lapses in judgement."

"We? You can't afford your next meal. I on the other hand can afford anything I want. Our marriage merely ties us together against our common enemies. The prenup keeps you from over stepping your place."

Sue Ellen sits in the living room shaking when Miss Ellie comes in. "Oh my dear. What's the matter." Sue Ellen breaks down crying. Miss Ellie holds her.

Sue Ellen says, "I'm pregnant."

"But that's wonderful isn't it."

Sue Ellen keeps crying. "I keep waiting for things to go wrong. I don't want another child and things to go wrong. I'm forty six Miss Ellie. I've lost one child. And it's not like I can keep JR's attention for very long."

"Oh Sue Ellen."

JR sends John Ross off to play with Ellie. He turns and look at Holly, "We had a deal. You get to raise her with out interference from me and I get to see her two weekends a year and manage her inheritance."

"Well you bringing John Ross around wasn't part of the deal."

"He's her brother."

"And what would Sue Ellen say about your little secret family?"

"And what would you say if my lawyers fought you for custody. You do have that little cocaine charge against you."

"You set me up."

"I didn't make you do a damn thing. I've also made you a hell of a lot of money."

"I want you gone. So either you leave us alone or your wife finds out."

"That's a big chance you're taking. My wife just might like to raise a little girl at South Fork. She's got a big heart."

"You try."

"You try and take my daughter from me and I'll break your neck."

Donna meets with two men in her office, "Yes the debt is considerable but we're under no pressure to turn your loans into ownership, certainly not twenty percent."

"We have reason to believe that there's a pending collapse in crude prices in the horizon."

"We'll cross that path when we get to it. Now if you'll excuse me I have a business to run and unless I'm late in a payment to you, I don't expect to either of you." She walks them to the door.

Carlos meets with Jack in Paris. Jack says, "What'd you find out?"

"She just left for Riyadh."

"Riyadh? What for?"

"I don't know yet. But I did get some mother information we've got to get back to JR."

"What is it?"

"She's got a child. George Herbert Wentworth the third. And Bobby Ewing is on the birth certificate."

"Oh that's not possible."

"Possible or not that's what it says."

"Jenna did that to Bobby. Charlie's not really his but Bobby was too honorable to turn his back on her regardless. But he's not here now and there's no way JR's going to let her claim more of Bobby's estate just by putting him down as the father."

"Yes but she doesn't have to claim anything. She's got control of the trust-fund and Bobby's shares in Ewing Oil. Not to mention I hear she's buying shares in her own. I've arranged a paternity test next time he goes to the doctors."

"Do we want her to know we know?"

"She won't. There's a DNA test I can get will prove without a doubt. I've arranged things here so we'd better head to Riyadh."

On her private jet Kathryn sits with a young man in the throngs of passion. Kissing, feeling all over each other, undressing. She puts her hands on top of his head and pushes him down to his knees.

Jeremy stands and walks to the back and through a door, closing it behind him.

Sue Ellen walks into JR's study and says we need to talk?"

"Sure. Come in. If this is about me and John Ross being gone longer fishin' I didn't mean to worry you. We just got in an extra day that's all."

"No it's not that. I'll admit I was worried, but you called. No. I've got some news."

"Your liver." JR turns white.

"No. I'm pregnant."

"What! Darlin' that's great news." He jumps up and takes her in his arms. "We've gotta tell John Ross. This is fantastic. You sure you're body can handle this."

"The doctors a little concerned. But says everything should be fine. He wants me to rest a lot."

"Yes of course. We'll name him Bobby. Robert James Ewing the second. You know he was named after my Daddy's mother, Roberta Ross. I never meet the woman. She died when daddy was young. Too young. Oh he'd be so happy darlin'. This is just what we need."

"JR we're still not even in the same room. Well more that a couple nights."

"Well work it sweetheart."

"Will we? Or is it just a matter of time you turn away from me."

"No that's not gonna happen."

"Really? Because I've heard that before."

"Sue Ellen, please, listen to me. I love you. I do. I was always so stupid, thinking you didn't really love me. But I know you do. And we're gonna be good. I promise you on my life Sue Ellen. I promise you." He holds her tight.

Cliff, Jamie, Kathryn and Jeremy meet in a Arab inspired hotel in Al-Ain celebrating. Kathryn says, "I know it's a lot of debt, but I don't really have any use for Wentworth Oil. If you want, we can work it out and you can work something out. With Jamie knowing drilling and Jeremy can consult on the business end, I'm sure you can pull it off."

Cliff looks at Jamie. She seems to agree.

"Jack. Have your brother join in with you. He's certainly got the money. It was your two father's that started Ewing Oil with Jock Ewing. Then when we've pried Ewing Oil out of their hands, we can sell you the property the three of them owned together and call it a score settled."

The celebration continues.

Episode 6: Black Ops War

Carlos, Donna, Jack and Queen-Li meet with JR in his study in the early morning.

Donna says, "As soon as the markets open the price of crude will be under twenty a barrel."

"I'm guessing it'll go as low as ten from what I'm hearing," Carlos adds.

Qi-Li says, "If that lasts even a month, maybe two, Cliff Barnes is finished. He and Jamie will walk away with nothing but debt. And Jack, you'll be forced to sell your Ewing shares and at a substantial cut because as soon as the market opens oil shares will plummet, from Exxon on down."

"Well weather it, but it's not gonna be easy," Donna says.

JR looks at Qi-Li, "Then the price will be low. Start shifting some money into oil stocks. once it gets back to thirty a barrel, sell." He then turns to Jack, "Im sorry. I thought this would have paid off with Cliff. Having a third if his company wasn't a bad idea. We'll figure this out. Qi-Li, see what you can salvage for Jack." Then looking at Carlos, "Are you sure Kathryn's behind this? Cause if she is, I really underestimated her."

"Positive. End result Cliff is totally broken. I'd guess Jamie and Jack are just a bonus."

Donna says, "If that's true, she's taking a dig at us too. We're vulnerable."

JR contemplates the room. "She got to Pam. Broke her. Took custody of Christopher. Jenna says she still walks around like a zombie. Now Cliff. It'll be a matter of time before Jamie leaves him and he's a drink on the streets like his old man, taking Jason's kids with me. Now it's our turn. Alright, she wants a war. Let's give her a war."

The meeting breaks up and JR see's everyone out the front door, but Carlos. "What did you find out?"

Carlos says, "The baby's not Bobby's."

"I didn't think so. Let's find out who the father is."

"I already have."

"And?"

"He's yours."

JR talks with John Ross who's grooming his horse. "I've got something I have to tell you. Your Aunt Pam's sister, Kathryn."

"The one that killed Uncle Bobby."

"Yes. I told her she's gunning for us."

"Right."

"I underestimated her. This is gonna be a bigger fight then I imagined. She also has a little boy, George. Turns out he's my son."

"What? Your not serious."

"I am. I gotta do something about it."

"You know for as long as I can remember you gave Uncle Ray a hard time about being a bastard and now you got two of your own. What's gonna happen when Ellie grows up and all this comes out? And now this kid?"

"Holly's one thing. I can tolerate her. But I can't let Kathryn Wentworth raise my son."

"Maybe you should have thought about that before you got involved with her."

In the back of a limousine Qi-Li says to Jack, "I'm sorry. We'll figure this out." He puts his hands on his thigh.

Jack looks at him in the eye, grabs him around the neck as kisses him hard.

Qi-Li moans, "I love you."

Jack begins pulling off his clothes.

Donna meets with David Miller again. "The Texas Standard Bank is willing to work something out."

"I said I didn't want to see you unless we defaulted on out loans."

"I thought you'd want to be proactive."

"Get out of my office Mr. Miller."

Cliff sits in a bar drinking himself into a stupor. Off to the side the bartender says to the manager, "When do I cut him off?"

"You don't. JR Ewing called. He's picking up the tab, today and anytime Cliff Barnes comes in here, and that's to be kept in the strictest of confidence."

Miss Ellie and Clayton arrive at South Fork. Ray comes up with Margret. Clayton laughs his new partner on the ranch is "mighty young."

Miss Ellie asks, "Have you seen JR?"

"No. Why? Something wrong?"

"The price of oil is in free fall."

"Donna mentioned that this morning. I guess Cliff Barnes is wiped out. But she says Ewing Oil will weather this."

"I hope so for JR's shake."

"How you fairing Clayton."

"My oil investments are way down, but I'm diversified enough to ride this out."

The Ewing's gather for drinks. Everyone congratulating Sue Ellen. She mentions if it's a boy JR wants to name him, "Aaron after his grandfather. We talked about naming him Bobby but he could bring himself to do it."

"And if it's, a girl?" Donna asks.

"Eleanor, after Miss Ellie. I'm so nervous. I . . ."

Miss Ellie assures her, "Nothing's going to happen."

Donna whispers, "So you're back in the same room together?"

Before she can answer JR enters the room and says, "I thought we'd have dinner outside. Couldn't get any more beautiful."

An off shore oil rig with the name Ewing Oil on it explodes.

Carlos comes running up to South Fork apologizing for interrupting but a Ewing Oil off shore rig just exploded. As he talks a helicopter is landing in the back yard. "They don't know how many are dead or injured and oil is just pouring into the Gulf."

Donna and JR follow Carlos to the helicopter.

In the dark of night the oil rig explodes again.

Jack sleeps with Beck in a hotel room ignoring a ringing phone. The two got at it hard as a banging comes from the door and a man shout, "Mr. Ewing." The door then opens and a man walks in, "Mr. Ewing, Carlos sent me to get you. There's been an accident with Ewing Oil and JR Ewing wants you in Galveston now."

Jack jumps out of bed and pulls on his pants.

In the dark flames and thick black smoke continues to rises up off the rig. A third explosion sends it crashing into the salt water.

Episode 7: Some Old Habits Die Hard

Jack speaks to reporters. "We're not worried about what happened right now. We've got fifteen employees fighting for their lives and seven who have died, who's families need support. We've also got Oil gushing into the ocean that needs to be stop. Everything Ewing Oil is is focused on these 3 issues right now." They clamor over asking questions. "No this was an accident. No one at Ewing Oil would ever be so callous. We take safety very seriously. We're a family business. The people who work with us are family. We would allow them to be hurt and they certainly wouldn't hurt each other." More questions shouted. "I suppose it could be sabotage. But not from with in . . . Because I know these people . . . I didn't say it was. Please, I have to get back to our people. We have a lot to worry about right now. Like I said, financial questions will have to wait. Donna Krebs is the Chairman and CEO and right now her priority is the oil spill. My self and my cousin JR are taking care of our employees . . . No I don't know where he is. We're very concerned. And yes as President of this company, we do expect him to be here. Thank you. Please I must go now. Thank you."

In a conference room Donna argues with Jack while JR watches, "I don't care about the cost! We're committing to cleaning up the spill."

"We can't even get it capped! And we certainly don't know we caused it."

"Doesn't matter."

"What do you mean it doesn't matter!"

"Ewing Oil has to put its reputation first."

"Not if it bankrupts us."

"It certainly will if our reputation suffers. Think about it, JR, what would Bobby do, because if that's not what we do, this most certainly will destroy Ewing Oil."

JR speaks up, "Donna's right. Believe me, I've found it difficult to do business more than once because of my reputation, which is why I hired her. We also need a new President. Until we get board approval, Jack, you're the acting President of Ewing Oil."

"What happened to . . ."

"Left the country. Carlos said he was out on the oil rig just yesterday for an unexpected meeting."

Donna says, "Oh come on. Someone like that isn't going to sabotage an oil rig."

Cliff sits drunk and dirty on a park bench.

A couple people walk by talking about the oil rig explosion and how Ewing Oil probably won't be around when all is said and done.

Jamie carries a suite case down stairs at Pam's house and looks around. Sad. Broken. She walks out the front door.

Jack and JR lay in the charm with the people in the hospital as their loved ones fight for their life.

Donna meets in her office working out a plan to cap the oil spill with several engineers. Qi-Li walks and the engineers walk out with Donna's full faith that in them. Qi-Li says, "Lucy just sold the Ewing Oil share in Gary's trusts."

"Another person jumping ship. That's leaves JR, John Ross and the foundation. The Ewing's own just five percent."

"No worries," Qi-Li says. "JR has me buying some deep discounted oil stock as we speak. Look upon this down turn as a clearance sale. One hell of a clearance sale."

JR and John Ross meet a young boy, about a year old in a Houston Park. They introduce themselves to George and play on the kids playscape.

Pam lies in bed, tossing and turning.

She dreams about Bobby. She sees him in the past coming home to accounted their marriage, leaving to get away from family strife, holding Christopher for the first time, holding Bobby for the last time. She sits up in bed, grasping for breath, crying. Christopher runs into the room to hold his mother.

JR and Jack sit at a redneck bar, exhausted and looking defeated. Ray walks in and says, "I told them you'd be with Jack and Jack would find a quite hole one the wall."

JR tells him they're on their way home and asks if Donna mentioned how bad the damage is. Ray explains everything salvageable. A drunk JR admits its all his fault, he made Kathryn into what she is and that she has every right to go after them all. Jack and Ray help him up and out of the place.

In the parking lot a guy backed up by his friends stops them, accusing JR of sleeping with his sister. When JR doesn't recognize the name the man takes a swing at him. A brawl erupts leaving Jack and Ray to defend JR who can't even stand on his own. Carlos appears with some other guys and soon it's a full on riot in the parking lot.

Bandaged in the kitchen at South Fork, Carlos says everyone's been paid off. "We won't hear a thing about it."

Sue Ellen can't believe JR's drunk and helps him up stairs. Along the way he asks for her forgiveness, mumbling he loves her and that he's just a stupid fool.

She gets him undressed and into bed and cuddles with him.

Back at their place Ray asks, "How bad is it?"

"Texas Standard Bank will get twenty percent of Ewing Oil. And, Kathryn's behind it."

"Miss Ellie asked me to go looking for Cliff earlier today babe got a call from Pam. Jamie left him. He's drunk. Hasn't sobered up since he lost the company. He's broke. He's really, really broke. Pam loaned him some money but she doesn't have much to help him. JR's been financing her since she left with Christopher. And Cliff took what's left, including the house to pay off what of his debt he could. He's ruined."

"Kathryn bankrupted them both. And if JR's right, and I don't see how he is, she's taken a lot of other people with him. I heard Stonehearst and Lee Oil are all bankrupt. She's gutted the independents. And now she's after Ewing Oil. My God Ray, she's gonna get away with it."

"I was talking to Jack about Cliff. He's gonna sent JR's man Carlos out to find him."

"Do you really think she's behind the rig explosion too?"

"I don't know. I just don't know."

The two hold each other tight.

Carlos finds Cliff passed out in a homeless shelter.

In the bright morning hours JR, Sue Ellen and John Ross have breakfast at South Fork out by the pool.

Jack comes walking up from the cottage on the side of the house. Becky leaves his place and drives off.

Ray and Donna drive up. They walk up to the breakfast table carrying Margaret, followed quickly by Qi-Li.

JR says, "Qi-Li I want you on South Fork too. Their and extra room in the cottage Jack's using. I just think security is better here. I talked to Momma and Clayton and their moving back, at least temporary into Teresa's room. Teresa's gonna take one of bunk houses. I don't think we've got anything to worry about Gary or Lucy, but I've got I've got people with Jenna and Pam in Switzerland."

Ray says, "Anyone find Cliff?"

JR answers, "Not yet."

Jack says, "I got a call from Jamie. She won't say where she is but she just said she had to get away."

JR says, "Probably best. You hear from her again tell her I'll get her some money if she needs to get her through."

"I sure will."

"That's a pretty cute little thing you been keeping company with Jack. She suitable for marriage?" Donna, Ray and Sue Ellen groan over JR's lack of tack. "I'm just asking. Jack here's a Ewing." Then speaking to John Ross he says, "Named after my granddad, like my Uncle Jason was named after his. John David Ewing The second and when he has a boy he'll be Jason James Ewing the third. Use to call my granddad 'JJ.' I didn't know him. My dad said he was tough as nails." Turning back to Jack, "Now Amy Anderson. That's a girl you should get serious about. Good family. That Becky, you can't take her seriously and you know that Jack. Not girls like that. Take Sue Ellen her. She's a Shepard. Good family. Mother was a bit of a social climber tryin' to get back up that later from where they came, but a good family. And Donna he's a McCullum. Fine Texas stock."

Donna says, "I'm not breeding stock."

"Well of course not Darlin'. But your from a good family." Looking at John Ross, "You take note my boy. This is important. Just like naming your child. I was named after my daddy like you. Gary was named after my mother's brother Garrison and Bobby after my daddy's momma Roberta. This things are important."

The family laughs.

JR walks into a hotel room to see Cliff hung over. "What hell Barnes, I've run over stuff that looks better than you."

"You come here to gloat? Just get it over with."

"No. I can't say I have. You sister's getting to be a bit much. She's got Wendell's son David running Wentworth Oil, what she's calling what's left of your little venture. And she's got Wendell running the Wentworth Group, some sort of conglomerate. And she's got twenty percent of Ewing Oil. I'd say she's doing mighty good for herself. But I don't see her and I getting along."

"Well not like you and I ever got along."

"No this is true and I don't intend to know." JR hands him some papers. "Plane tickets. Coach. I wouldn't want you to feel out of place. That'll get you to Switzerland where Pam can take care of you."

"Why you doing this?"

"Pam asked me. And, I made a promise to Bobby to take care this family. I mean Pam, not you. Now clean up. You smell like you pissed your pants."

JR walks up from the driveway at South Fork with Qi-Li. "I want you to buy everything Holly Harwood sells. She's panicking over prices and selling at bargain prices."

"I heard she's even got Harwood Oil itself up for sale."

"Buy it."

"Consider it done. Any word on Kathryn Wentworth taking control of Ewing Oil?"

"That's her goal. She wants to tie up a bit more stock. Maybe thirty percent or more. She then needs to work on the board members, those she'll replace and those she can keep and control. Once she thinks she's done that, she'll go after South Fork as a Ewing Oil asset. Then she'll come gunning for me. I'm guessing she wants me in prison. Maybe something along the lines I used against Wendell. It I should tell you, dinner at South Fork, you can talk politics and religion, as long as you're an anti-federalist and a God fearing man, but not business. There's no talk of business."

Kathryn Wentworth and Jeremy Wendell's Mansion:

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/10000-Hollow-Way-Rd-Dallas-TX-75229/61870971_zpid/

Kathryn walks down the stairs of her huge mansion, white, light and bright, to see George walking in with his nanny. "Welcome home previous." She hugs him. "Do you like your new home?" She picks him up and hugs him and before handing hi to his nanny. "Take him up stairs and show him his room."

Jeremy walks into room. "I'm still finding it hard to believe that's Bobby Ewing's son."

"I don't much care what you believe. Frankly knowing your wife, I find it hard to believe any of your children are yours."

"That's different. She slept with half of Texas. I'm talking about Bobby Ewing and your Pam's sister."

"Don't question me Jeremy."

While horseback riding Qi-Li says to Jack, "Kathryn didn't fight JR for guardianship of Christopher and control of the trust funds because she bought your cousin Bobby's shares in Ewing Oil."

"How can she get away with that."

"She actually bought them before the fall in price so it worked out to his kids' advantage. It cost her over a billion dollars though. She's got to be stretched thin herself."

"Why if she orchestrated the oil glut would she buy before and not after?"

"I don't know. I mean JR certainly can't accuse her of mismanagement of their money."

"Is she really worried about that? She seems to have everyone in her pocket."

"She must be, because she paid a lot more than she would have if she waited. Or she wasn't sure about the oil glut. Or she didn't want to hurt the kids? I don't know."

"Well at least Christopher's safe."

"You ever think about having kids?"

"I don't know. If the right woman came along."

Qi-Li looks heart broken when he says, "You could always adopt."

"By myself?"

"No with a partner."

"No. That might be fine for Bobby with Charlie and Christopher not really being his blood. But it's not for me. If I'm going to raise a child, he's gonna be a blood Ewing, by a woman with proper standing."

Pamela, Charlie and Christopher try operating a small sailboat in a beautiful Swiss lake. The three end up laughing more than taking it seriously.

Miss Ellie, Teresa and Ray cook chili together in the South Fork kitchen with Sue Ellen watching. Miss Ellie laughs that they better make two batches, because the one Ray's making will kill most people it's so hot. Ray assures her this is the way the ranch hands like it. Teresa confirms he's right and that there's always two batches, one for the hands, another for the family.

Sue Ellen says, "I think it be sort of fun watching JR eat the hotter batch. He wouldn't dare not finish it, or complain about his momma's cooling."

JR and John Ross sit and play with George in Kathryn's living room when Kathryn walks in. Angered she complains about her security.

JR says, "Well I think we both have underestimated each other. Where's that husband of yours?"

"Working. Shouldn't you be?"

"I've give it up for spending time with my family. By the way this is my son, John Ross. And you know my other son, George."

"He's not yours."

"Let's stop lying to each other. You think I believed he was Bobby's? Not for one second. But I did realize the possibility was that he was mine. I'll keep your secret, for now, but you'll change the birth certificate and sign those shared custody papers." JR motions to some papers on the table. He then picks the boy up, "We're headed to the zoo. Be back later today."

Kathryn watches them leave.

Outside getting into the car John Ross says to his brother, "You'll get use to out daddy winning. Just what he does."

Episode 8: What Matters Most

Cars rolls up the French palace home of the Woodworth-Wendell's. Limousine's roll down the winding driveway until beyond a plush green grass lawn the Dynastyesque mansion appears.

Guests walk up the the front door and fill in every nook and cranny. Servants carry around trays with drinks and nibbles. Music fills the air.

Amy Anderson approaches Kathryn and Jeremy in the living room. "What a magnificent house. And I just love the name. Walnut Grove." The two women hug and exchange kisses on both cheeks. Amy then does the same with Jeremy Wendell as if old friends. "Of course you know my date, Jack Ewing." Jack declines Kathryn's offered hand.

Kathryn says, "Welcome. Please help yourself. There's plenty of food and drink to go around. It's not like South Fork. We're a bit more gentle here but if you want Jack I'm sure we can get you a beer and some nuts."

"Oh no thank you. Don't go to any trouble. I'm full up on nuts in my life."

Kathryn chuckles.

Sitting out on the terrace Ray and Donna people watch. Ray says, "Remind me why we're here again? I'd just as soon go in there and break that bitches neck."

"She controls the largest block of Ewing Oil shares, between Wentworth and her proxy over the Standard Bank shares. Like JR said, we're in the giving her enough rope to hang herself phase. I'm just glad she left the board position and put on Jeremy and his son. I can stomach looking at them at least."

"I'll tell you what. If it wasn't for Margaret I'd just go in there and end this once and for all."

"Thank goodness for that."

They then greet Jack and Amy. Any gushers over the house. Jack asks about Miss Ellie and Clayton. Ray responds, "Miss Ellie said she'd rather have her eye balls plucked out by buzzards than attend."

Amy says, "Why? Everyone who's anyone is here. The Governor. The Hunts. The Bushes."

"Certainly not everyone if Miss Ellie's not not here."

JR and Sue Ellen step out of the back of a limousine and walk into Walnut Grove with Sue Ellen saying, "Who could be important to meet you bring me here?"

"Darlin' sometimes you just gotta walk through hell if you gonna get to the other side."

The walk straight to the back by passing the living room, under the dramatic staircase and onto the patio where they meet the family. Ray and Sue Ellen commiserate about the event. JR says he's gonna take a walk.

In a quite garden spot looking at a still pond an older black man stands alone. JR approaches him from the side and says, "Mr. Rosemont."

Note: I always wanted to have a subtle connection between Dallas and Falcon Crest, and while it will be a year or more before Rosemont shows up on Falcon Crest, I have him appearing here first.

https://www.google.com/search?q=ros...gC&biw=375&bih=559&dpr=2#imgrc=sKvKKnEnPQc3oM:

"Mr. Ewing. I've been wondering when we'd meet. Lovely house.

"If you like this sort of thing."

"Yes a bit over the top. I hear we have a lot in common. Neither one of us are too found of unpredictability."

"I find there's very little I can't predict, if I know what's going on, and I make it my business to always know what's going on."

"I'm told that about you. I'm also told that you have an issue with Miss. Wentworth. The Wentworth's are old family friends."

"I've heard. I've also heard that your little group of friends doesn't always get along so well and that might have something to do with Rebecca Wentworth's plane crash a few years back."

"Well we're like a family and every family has its squabbles."

"This is true. I can attest to that. But right now you're helping Kathryn fight my family. And that's a problem."

"Believe me Mr. Ewing, we have identified you as a person of particular interest. A particularly capable challenge. But we're also challenging."

"Good cause I like a challenge."

"How about a friend?"

"Haven't had much use for them in the past."

"This oil glut won't last long and when we're on the upside I hear you stand to make a fortune. When you do, I'd appreciate a thank you."

"A thank you? For destroying my friends and family."

"I thought you didn't have any use for friends and if your family has listened to you and held out they'd be just as happy as you'll be when this is over. If it's any consolation, your niece Lucy argued with her father about selling. He did it anyway. I thought it was telling of her that she was following your lead."

"Surprising."

"Family can be like that."

"So what do I have to do to get you to pull away from Kathryn Wentworth?"

"That's not going to happen. But I'm always willing to make new friends."

JR rides with John Ross out to a remote park of South Fork. He gets off his horse and walks up to a tree house. Looking up he says, "I miss you Bobby. I never thought I'd have to go it alone. And I'm sorry for the fight over Ewing Oil. I should have never let daddy do that to us. I'm gonna hold this family together. You wait and see. I'm gonna be a daddy again." JR tears up. "Damn it Bobby."

Sue Ellen begins to walk down the stairs at South Fork and doubles over in pain. She looses her grip and falls down, hitting each step until reaching the landing.

Couple of clips I'd have used earlier putting JR and Sue Ellie together:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_0GexNJmrIc

And Here's a scene I've had used too with Sue Ellen running the foundation:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ddbFbpHKmVA

JR talks to the doctor about Sue Ellen. "How is she?"

"Stable. Her immune system is compromised. I've got her quarantined. She'll be fine, we've just got to keep her away from people. Anything couple hurt her right now." JR sits down, looking shaken. The doctors continues, "The baby's fine. But I might have to ask you to make a hard choice. If it comes down to it and she can't decide for herself, I might have to ask you to abort the child to save her life."

Off to the side Donna and Ray are struck, holding each other, looking at JR, destroyed.

Telly Talk Star
Episode 9:

JR sits in the hospital lobby, sullen and defeated. Miss Ellie brings him a coffee. He doesn't even acknowledge her. Clayton whispers to Miss Ellie, "I know this sounds bizarre, but he loves her and nothing you do is going to help him with that."

In her office Donna assures Kathryn that twenty percent ownership does not equal control of the board of directors.

Rosemont assures JR there is no better OB/GYN in the world.

Carlos tells Jack the Kathryn is mounting a war for the board of directors. She's going after each one. Donna tells him she's placing him on the board to replace someone who resigned, effective immediately.

Miss Ellie, Clayton, Jack, Amanda, Ray and Donna attend a Chamber of Commerce Evert where Bobby is awarded the man of the year award. The announcement is made by Jeremy Wendell. The room erupts in applause, a standing ovation. Even Kathryn stands, to everyone attention.

Miss Ellie accepts the award telling the crowd how happy she is that they choose to remember her son. Then she looks at Kathryn and says, "While I'll be happy to pass this onto his children I am certain they'd rather have justice served. Their father died needlessly and his kill walks among us, free." She steps down off the stage determined.

Jack walks in the cottage late that evening to find Qi-Li drinking alone in the dark. When he questions him Qi-Li replies, "It's not like you care."

"Of course I care. Why would you say such a thing."

"I can smell her on you."

"Amanda?"

"Then that other girl before that."

"Becky."

"I don't want to hear their names."

"Look it I'm sorry if you thinks there's more here between us than there really is". A tear runs down Qi-Li's cheek. "But it's not like I can go out in public with you. You can't give me children. What do you want out of me?"

"Nothing."

Jack walks into his room.

Qi-Li breaks down crying.

JR gathers in the living room with John Ross waiting. Jack and Qi-Li show up then Donna and Ray with Miss Ellie and Clayton. JR says, "We all need to be on the same page. I got enough tho worry about with Sue Ellen's health. I can't be worried about this family too while Kathryn Wentworth's gunning for us."

Miss Ellie says, "Of course JR. We're all behind you."

"I'd like to believe that momma but the history of this family proves other wise." JR looks at Ray and says, "I ain't gonna pretend I'm happy about you being part of this family. Let's not go lying to each other now. Of you think of it, how happy would you be if that old man of yours had brought home some bastard and told you to call him brother?"

"JR?" Miss Ellie admonishes.

Ray says, "No. JR's right. I'd like to think I'd been a little more civil but I can't imagine I'd been too happy."

"But you're a Ewing. Despite the fact you don't change you name. And you married well. I don't pretend to understand it, but I'm sure no one gets my marriage either. And Jack, you came into our lives rather shady with your hand out, but you've proven to be a Ewing. But of course both of you lost your shares in Ewing Oil. At least ole Ray here, you got something to show for it. I'll give ya that. But all that aside, we got Kathryn to deal with. We seen what she did to the Barnes. Not that I blame her." Miss begins to object again and JR says, "Like it or not momma Cliff Barnes been after this family since day one with all that hate Digger filled his head with. And I'm business he didn't stand a chance against us, not until his momma left him all that money of Katherine's dad. No I don't blame her on that one. And didn't ya'all notice that with Wentworth money Pam didn't need Bobby anymore. She was more than happy to be divorced and rush into another man's arms. And don't tell me she didn't know Kathryn was making a play for all that money, because there she was right back with Bobby. You all call fall for that Barnes simpleton, but it got my brother killed. And now the woman who did it is after us. Don't think the company's the last of it either. She didn't stop until Pam and Cliff were broken. I ain't waiting around for that to happen to this family. Because I won't be the first she goes after. I'll. E the last."

"So what do you want from us?" Donna asks.

"I want to know we're in this together. I'll limit my issues with Ray to sarcastic comments and I'll accept him as a Ewing. And Jack, I'm hoping Donna when you're ready to retire or move back to politics he'll be ready for your job. I'll even accept you Clayton. But we gotta work together. No secrets. She'll use those against us. Now I got one to come clean about. Me and Kathryn had an affair before she left. I didn't think much of it at the time. We shared a common enemy, the Barnes. But I didn't expect Bobby to get in the way. And that's what he did. I also didn't expect she'd have my baby. But her son is mine, George Herbert after her dad and granddad. I didn't find out about him until recently. I haven't even told Sue Ellen. Frankly I don't know how. You might not all believe this, but I do love her. She's hurt me every bit as much as I've hurt her, but I've always loved Sue Ellen. You don't know what I'm gonna do. But we've gotta stick together in this."

Miss Ellie asks, "I don't understand how she's pulled all this off. What is it, connections of Jeremy Wendell?"

"No momma. She's used her connections to help out Wendell. No their connection of her father and grandfathers. But I can tell you the Wentworth's friends aren't always that friendly. Rebecca's plan crash wasn't an accident. They've got just as powerful enemies. Now I know this families got some kinda moral code with business, but daddy knew it. To gotta look out for yourself. What was he suppose to do, let Jason and Digger drag him down too? A man's gotta do what he thinks is right. You can't always be worried about the sensitivities of others. And let me tell you, Kathryn Wentworth won't be." JR nods at Teresa and says, "Dinners ready. I just home I can count on this family. Cause if I can't Kathryn'll get away with what she did and put us all right next to Bobby."

Everyone walks toward the dinning room. JR stops Qi-Li and Jake and quietly says, "And I don't care what happens between the two of you in how sheets," then pointing his finger into Jacks chest, "But you better straighten up and treat him right cause I ain't my daddy. I won't kick you're ass over the county line, I'll hire sone guys to baby sit your ass." JR leave them for the dinning room.

Note: Anyway, that's where things would stand if I did what became the dream season. I hope you liked it. Sue Ellen would be fighting for her life only to give birth to identical twin boys. JR would be fighting for custody of George and Kathryn would still be gunning for them all while carrying on an affair with her stepson David. Pam and Cliff would be seen all season a bit here and there and possibly return to Dallas as a regular at the end. Ray and Donna would struggle as her job takes up more and more of her time. She'd leave for a presidential appointment as secretary of energy and Jack would take over running Ewing Oil. (Of course one day Ray would go after her and she'd return to fight Jack from destroying all her hard work with his schemes, him and Kathryn). Qi-Li would attempt suicide. This would be Dallas turned on its head without Bobby and JR would be the head of the family.

And now the cliffhanger:

In the hospital Qi-Li and Sue Ellen fighting for their lives with two premature sons fighting for their lives; Donna flys to Washington, D.C. alone for her new job while Ray takes care of Margaret; Clayton explains to Miss Ellie about the fund into which they, along with Ray, invested a great deal of their money going under, a Ponzi scheme. Congress is investigating, but it's unlikely they'll recoup much. He tells her JR said Kathryn was behind it and the fund manager is on the run. Miss Ellie assures Clayton that they'll be fine. Clayton looks defeated.

JR walks into the Entry of South Fork in a rush with Jack, John Ross and George. They look up to see Kathryn. She laughs, "I did it. The board turned South Fork over to me," she says holding up a piece of paper.

"I heard you had a meeting without us."

"The board of Ewing Oil reached a quorum. Jeremy replaced Jack as Chairman and CEO. The Ewing's are out. Out of Ewing Oil and out of South Fork."

JR laughs.

Kathryn says, "Get out of my house!"

Jack starts to run up the stairs but JR grabs his arm. JR says, "Don't be a fool. Come on. Let me show you something."

They walk out side and look up at the front out South Fork.

Kathryn appears on the balcony and says, "I won JR. I finally won. Everything you love belongs to me."

George holds tight to JR's leg and John Ross holds tight to George. Not everything Kathryn."

"I'll get my son back next. I promise you that."

"You finally did it. You finally under estimated ole JR." JR laughs. Fade to black.

JR and his boys alongvwith Jack walk out side and look up at the front out South Fork.

Kathryn appears on the balcony and says, "I won JR. I finally won. Everything you love belongs to me."

George holds tight to JR's leg and John Ross holds tight to George. "Not everything Kathryn."

"I'll get my son back next. I promise you that."

"You finally did it. You finally under estimated ole JR." JR laughs.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Ewing Oil only owns the leases to South Fork. JRE owns god mineral rights and the cattle company. The Ewing Foundation owns the land and John Ross owns the house. You have nothing."

"I still control the board of Ewing Oil."

"No you don't. You and Standard Bank and your associates all own Class A shares. Myself, John Ross and the foundation hold Class B shares that hold multiple votes per share. When you added it all up, it'll come out to fifty-seven percent of the vote. You are nothing more than an investor. I control Ewing Oil, always have and always will."

"No."

"Why do you think I let you on South Fork? Just do I could tell you face to face. Oh and JRE has been selling its oil investments since the price of oil's gone back up and it's invested in the Wentworth Group. With all the money you've shuffled around to invest in Ewing Oil, I am not the single largest shareholder in the Wentworth Group. Jack and I will be taking seats on your board."

"You bastard!"

JR laughs. Fade to black

(replace Jenna with Kathryn and Cliff with Jack)

Pam and Christopher arrive at Miss Ellie and Clayton's house in Preston Hollow.

I've finally caught up on this story. :)

So here's some constructive feedback. First of all I am surprised that Katherine got away with killing Bobby with no reprecussion. Was it because she had a young child she wasn't put in jail? Or did she buy herself out of it?

Then as for JR/SE. Somehow I'd still rather have had them have a daughter than two more sons but oh well it's nice to see some more children for them. Also I am glad it was established that JR & Sue Ellen do love each other. :)

I don't understand how they lost Ewing Oil though, as the whole Weststar take over happened a lot later than on the show.

Katherine and Jeremy Wendell married?
Ugh I can't picture that even if it's just for business. So maybe it would have made more sense to have her marry his son?

I like Ray taking a part in Margaret's life and bonding with his daughter. It's nice to see him and Donna on the mend and Donna maintaining a career. :)

I'm a little disappointed we never got to see Jenna and Lucas visit Southfork and his grandma Ellie. Having Bobby's son when Bobby was gone would have been extra precious to Miss Ellie.

I guess Jack being bisexual is homage to the actor who was gay...

I can totally picture Cliff following in his father's footsteps if he loses everything...I liked how JR had mercy on him and sent him to Pam on a flight.

I don't even remember the character you borrowed from Falcon Crest!
Who was he on that show?
It's been ages since I've seen Falcon Crest.

I like your spin-off idea for Lucy & Mitch. :)

Interesting idea with the oil platform blowing up, so who was behind that one?
Somehow I had a feeling it was sabortage.

Then finally I think your writing style is inspired by the Dallas TNT show!
It's never occurred to me before as your stories are usually set in the future after that show. But well reading a story set in the past made this obvious to me. You have the same fast pacing and plot twisted focus that the TNT show had. You keep building up interesting plots but moves on before you really get into the in depth drama. You do have more interesting plots and especially kudos to you for thinking up all the business schemes with hostile take overs etc. which was sorely lacking on Dallas TNT.

I also think you've been inspired by Dallas TNT and the storyline of JR's lost daughter as you keep having JR's bastards pop up all over the place in your stories. Usually fathered by Holly or Katherine, which is not a popular storyline with the JR/SE fans and therefore alienates potential readers... :(
It's a shame but I just say it as I see it.

Then as for the Dallas TNT show, personally a part of me is glad it was taken off the air when it was as I didn't want Christopher to be killed in that ridiculous car explosion.
Then as for JR's daughter I had sort of hoped that she would have turned out to be older than John Ross, in between James and John Ross in age and that the mother would have been Julie Grey, since considering the amount of years she spent as JR's mistress before the show came on the air and that she seemed to love him, I can somehow picture her giving birth to his baby. Also I think the girl would have been put up for adoption to avoid a scandal!

A Governor can pardon anyone for any state crime. So I guess you could say she bought the governor. She used powerful friends of her father's to control the governor and judges to get control of Wentworth Tool and Die as well, but JR cuts a deal with them next and they turn on Kathryn.

Yes I wanted JR and SE to establish they loved each other and if I wrote a whole year they'd have had a lot more drama getting there - pregnancy would not be easy for her emotionally. My idea was that they'd have 3 boys, like His daddy and a 4th out there coming back and forth with another woman also like his daddy. And a daughter out there like HL Hunt. But I get your point wishing Sue Ellen and JR would have a girl. I can see Sue Ellen being very good to Margret.

When Ewing Oil merged with West Star it bought it and took on massive debt, even though the company was a financial mess and Wendell went to prison. The only way out of it was to take the whole thing public. The Ewing's kept only about 10%. So that allowed Kathryn to go after controlling it. She spent a lot of her own money to do it, along with a bank she was invoked with and some friend of her father's. she also took control of the board members one by one through blackmail so that they'd give her what she wanted - I skipped a lot of that to return to Dallas 2018.

Wendell needed her to get out of jail and she needed to control him so he'd run Ewing Oil. A marriage with a prenup allows her a tight leash on him - especially as he's scared of her father's powerful friends. While JR becomes faithful to Sue Ellen both Jack and Kathryn get to whore it up on the show so she needed imo someone to humiliate with affairs (not that Wendell care about her but she certainly emasculates him).

Ray and Donna were on the mend until she leaves for her new D.C. job. Now Ray has to go get her and convince her to return to Dallas and run Ewing Oil again - JR putting Donna (good) against Jack (bad) in running the giant oil company as he retires to work behind the scenes.

Season 2 without Bobby see's 1st Pam and Christoper return. Then Jenna with Charlie and Lucas. And don't forget Patrick Duffy wanted back and Bobby's only been in a coma so he can return if for nothing else to settle his story lines.

It was for the actor and the LGBTQ community. The idea is like JR he gets around me but he's got more scope of people to get around with. He also hurts Qi-Li in a very JR/SE way - so the original formula is still there, with Jack in the JE role and Donna in the Bobby role and Qi-Li in the Sue Ellen role. JR like Jock retired and stirs up the pot.

JR is a softer man now that he's lost Bobby. I also felt that Cliffs character had run its course. When Pam returns he can return but as a broken man living out the rest of his life like Digger, drunk and bitter.

Rosemont would show up the following year (or two) as the head of the 13 Angela and Richard will bring down. The 13 are a powerful international syndicate looking to control free markets - like oil, something JR can agree to. With their help the Saudis stop flooding the market and oil prices go back up.

I always thought Lucy needed a show of her own. There was so much fun they could have had with her and Knots Landing was successful so why not another spin off?

Kathryn's friends (or should I say her father's friends). Kathryn is evil to the core in what she's willing to do and I figure her character would probably burn out by the end of the second season without Bobby. But who knows, if audiences were willing to tolerate that level of evil like they do now a days maybe she'd be on longer.

I probably do move a lot faster with the plots like Dallas TNT but like them I'm only looking at a short time period not a long season. In this case I just wanted to get out my ideas for an alternative Season to the dream season so I skipped about a 2/3's of the episodes to get to the cliff hanger and return to Dallas 2018.

I understand a lot of people don't like JR having all these bastards but I really don't think it would be possible for a man like him not to have this issue. Unlike Jock who was mostly faithful, JR whored around endlessly. My hope was that by putting JR and SE together without the on again / off again drama (which I think had also played itself out) fans would be happy and that the couple would still need other issues for drama - the past raising its head. Sue Ellen being the good person she really was and wanting desperately to be loved, would have room for all these children in their family. I also wanted to align JR closer to the real life HL Hunt. I also needed a connection between JR and Kathryn going forward - this isn't just money and power and revenge (for both toward the other) this is personal with little George in the middle.

I like your idea for an older daughter and certainly like James there could be older bastards too. The idea is the story continues after Bobby's death but with it being turned on its head. I think the producers thought loosing Bobby hurt the show where I don't think it did. I think tired storylines did. They needed to shake things up and Bobby's death presented that opportunity. Instead the original writers just doubled down on the old storylines over and over again until JR cracked up.

So instead JR is sort of retired into Jocks roll.

Sue Ellen takes up Miss Ellie's role but has a whole lot more of JRs past to deal with than Miss Ellie did with Jock.

Jack is a younger, greedier, more lustful version of JR.

Donna is a powerful woman in an all male business, more morally determined than Bobby.

Kathryn is the opposite adversary of Cliff - she's capable, strong and has a stronger reason to hate the Ewing's, JR used her early on then took away her only child. And JR hates her because she killed Bobby.

Thanks for explaining everything. :)

So basically what you're saying is that Bobby is not dead. He's in a coma?
That would change things with Katherine as then she didn't actually kill him.

Also I didn't know that a governor could pardon a crime. I guess I don't know much about american politics on a local level. But I find that piece of information very interesting. :)

Oh yeah I vaguely remember the 13th plot on Falcon Crest...that makes sense.

I like the Lucy spin-off idea even though I would have loved for her to show up on Knots Landing too. I mean can you imagine the storyline possibilities with her and her parents and Abby, if she and Mitch had moved to Knots Landing in 1985 instead of to Atlanta?

Missed opportunties in my opinion.

Right. I would never have left Bibbybdead like that. He was to major of a character. At the very start JR and Miss Ellie agree that leaving him in a coma is the only way, they can't have him removed from machines.

Yes a governor can pardon any state crime - president can pardon Amy federal crime. Usually before the leave office they pardon a whole lot of people.

Yea the 13 were JRs kindnof people.

I agree with Lucy but thought the producers at Knots Landing weren't interested so her own show made sense to me.

Thank you very much for your feedback. It was fun to think of an alternative to a dream season.
